Hey, how bout if you know any channels that do book reviews you could encourage people to read Mayanaise? It sure would be fun if we could get everyone to read!

I don't really do youtube outside of watching the occasional old music video :)
I used to waste my time watching all sorts of shit, but prefer to game, read or watch shows instead.

The original Dragonball series at the moment actually 🀣
I have a plethora of manga I bought that I'm catching up on, but have a few of Gibson's novels to read as well as some other stuff.
Not a huge fan of e-books as reading lots of text on a screen tends to cause me eyestrain, compared to reading real books, but the sci-fi bundle has got me wanting to try again.

Recently i enjoyed BuzzFeedVideo's Draw-Off videos. Apart from different artists' different style and perspectives on characters, Kevin and Jackie's synergy is great.

My favourite channel is unfortunately in Russian, but many videos are subtitled. It's a channel of a woman who lives with 4 owls, a cat and a bunch of little terrarium monsters, and they are all awesome. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwB1KTdX2PNgA4Q79PfOydw

Personally, I love the Snarled channel's Something Scary series. It's a series of animated horror stories. It may not be your cup of tea but they're well made and binge-worthy!

Gaming

Call Me Kevin - an Irish guy who plays games the "wrong" way. Check out his Gmod RP and Sims videos, I think they are the best.
DougDoug - Gaming shenanigans. Mostly recorded Twitch streams of "challenges" involving stupidly modded games (like biking off a GTA 5 mountain with only voice commands, while planes are crashing down from the sky).
Mitten Squad - Tries to beat games with self-imposed handicaps (like beating Fallout 3 as a baby). Mostly with RPG games (lot of Fallout) but also other games. It's all narrated on an edited recording of the run, and oddly comforting to watch. There's also some funny moments/jokes in there.
John Wolfe - Horror games player that doesn't do purposely obnoxious reactions. It's kind of fun to see him actually get scared occasionally as it is a rare occurrence. Also plays "bad" horror games for fun, these can be pretty funny too.
SovietWomble - A bunch of friends doing stupid shit. The editing is really fun in those videos.

Standup comedy

Drew Lynch - Funny guy.
Steve Hofstetter - Funny guy, but funnier heckler shutter-down.

Comedy

Door Monster - Gaming skits and sketches. Hilarious and perfect line delivery, I love them. Unfortunately they've recently decided to change the channel and focus on D&D stuff, but they still have their old content you can watch.
Studio C - Same as above, but on a more professional level.
The Shmuck Squad - For your abridged anime fix.
PurpleEyesWTF - Same as above, but much, much better. Sadly barely ever uploads anymore, but do yourself a favour and watch Code Ment and None Piece.
mans1ay3r - Because gamerpoop, that's why.
Zebra Corner - Makes fun of shitty TV ads.

Also you didn't ask for that, but here's another category of fun stuff.

Science/education

Computerphile - Interesting computer stuff explained so even an idiot (like me) understands.
Tom Scott - Discovered via Computerphile, explains fun things about science, places on Earth, and general fun facts about the world.
Sam O'Nella Academy - Historic events explained in a comedic way, with crudly drawn images.
Oversimplified - Similar to above, but with slightly better images/animations.
Extra Credit - Same as above but explained in a serious manner and more in-depth. Also includes other topics than history (like games dev, mythology, politics, etc).
Michael Reeves - For when you're not sure if you want sciency tech stuff, or just laugh your ass off at stupidly useless robots, tools and toys.

Zero Punctuation is super funny web series of Video Game reviews. It's basically rapid-fire comedy with a review hidden in there between the humor. Has a loooooot of episodes since it's been on-going for... how long has it bee? 10 years? 15? Anyway, it's a very long-running series. ^_^'

Videogamedunkey is pretty funny. He... basically doesn't take anything seriously and makes everything look ridiculous. XD

Honest Trailers makes fun of movies by making made up trailers that are ridiculously honest about all the stupid and nonsensical stuff that happen in the movies in question. (There's also a spin-off called Honest Game Trailers that does the same with video games but that one is hosted on a different channel and... let's say they had some ownership things going on recently and the newer trailers have questionable quality at times.)

Similarly there's Pitch Meetings bringing attention to ludicrous stuff in movies by having a script writer (who is completely nuts) pitch the movies to a movie director (who isn't much better and is borderline useless). Oh, and they're both played by the same guy.

All of Dorkly's video game parodies are hilarious, but do be warned that it's almost 100% pitch black comedy. You can check out their playlists for parodies related to specific games or themes. (Regrettably their parent company College Humor went bankrupt two months ago so newer videos have been... slower, but all the old stuff is still there and hilarious.)

I personally find this guy's anime related videos pretty funny.

And for something not humor related- Kurzgesagt – In a Nutshell has a lot of awesome science-y videos about different subjects, as well as random general information videos or other random interesting stuff. All with a pretty neat art style and narration. Neutron stars are pretty awesome. :D

I like things that can be laughed without knowing the language.
Some domestic anime is available for free on the internet distribution service (for corona), so it seems that some people watch such anime.

e? Is it a YouTube channel that I often see? Is a secret.πŸ˜‰

Kind of sideways advice, but the Dicefunk DnD podcast is something I enjoyed a lot - 30something, about an hour long episode for each season, individual adventures in a progressing world. I think they are on the 6th season now. S1 is a bit more to traditional DnD as there's quite a lot of fighting, from S2 they go towards character-interactions, how choices and roll checks affect the story, with pretty grandiose premises. Can be fun, and it's very DnD newbie-friendly, even I figured it out!
