I just wanted to know why Alice: Madness returns was at 50 € on Steam and 10 € on Origin

Yet, most people would still buy the steam version.

Yup, they will but that's the price you pay if you don't want to deal with Origin. I personally dislike Origin but I put up with it for the games I love, however if it gets much worse I won't be willing to anymore.

EA decides at what price they sell their games at which platform. So Valve and EA are basically competitors when it comes to business. Logically it is more expensive on Steam?

Because EA is an a*s

Spend the money and buy tf2 keys, after trade this tf2 keys to alice madness returns or buy another game and trade it after, if you want it on Steam, anyways, when you got the Steam version they provide you a key which can be activated on Origin. I see ppl trade it for 5-6 keys on outpost.

E-Anormous Ass sounds kinda catchy and fitting. I felt the need to share that with everyone.

The problem is that it costs $20 in US Steam Store. Only Europe (and probably Australia) has fucked prices.

That's still more expensive, but you can ask some us/ru guy to buy it for you and trade for TF2 keys, you'll get it for 20-25€

I got the PS3 version for $15 a few months back. Good thing, I suppose, since Steam wants so much for it.

It's a decently fun game, but it's old enough to not be worth /that/ much.

Just trade for it. It goes as low as $5 in the USA when it is on sale for 75% off.

I checked the game history … it's been as low as $5 on steam five times! Be patient.

Because EA is a shitty and greedy company. Also the game it's just a total shit, was really hoping a good game, the only good thing i can think about the game is the artwork, other than that the game is pretty much repetitive and boring

I managed to complete that sea world and stuff, can't remember in wich capter I was. But i did not completed the game because it was repetitive and boring, like I said in my original post, levels feels so empty and all. Can't remember the story right now...

Most of the games are repetitive. GTA has the same missions since 1st part of the series, only with upgraded graphics. Isn't COD has all the same thing over and over? Then skyrim will basically bore you to hell.

Alice in other hand is very well story driven. Since of spoilers I won't mention any parts. But if you own it, I would recommend you to play it. You will surely have a twist at the end of the story.

But that's my thoughts about the game. And I get it, that's how you feel about the game. =)

The game was a good experience, but it was ruined by the "empty" scenarios. The look of the game was spectacular, i really enjoyed that "paradise" (Just like Brutal Legend, i keep replaying the game just for the world). Sorry if I make you mad or something, was just sharing my view of the game and sadly, the publisher.

Cheaper on Origin is understandable. But 20$ in the USA and 50€ in Europe is simply insane.
