One moment it's myself with health stuff and the next it's my dad again, he had bladder cancer and got cured, that is clean but there is still something coming from some place else, so now they gonna go check that out, so here again hoping for the best.

Just can't get a moment of rest that way, when you get one thing after the other.

Got this new gaming chair though https://www.ak-racing.com.au/akracing-nitro-gaming-chair-red.html (got it for 250 euro) and wow what a difference with a more normal chair, this supposedly is also a great chair for people with back problems (like me) although if you got used to sitting in a wrong position, you will feel it for the first few days because you are adjusting.

Good luck with your Dad. Cancer is not fun for anyone. If he can survive that he should be strong enough to beat anything :)

Thanks.

Yeah and it's all so random, you can live healthy or not, but the C thing doesn't discriminate, everyone can get it, and if it's in the family it could increase the chances on some forms to get it. Actually now that i think about it in my own family, by blood only my dad had it.

Hope those cases for you had positive outcomes.

Yeah i know and i try, but he still has me living with them (but i am working on it) and my niece (16) he got alot to worry about, when they are already retired and which offcourse they never had this planned and sometimes that also leads to frustrations from all sides, but i am trying to let go of that from my part, so it can hopefully all be a bit more peaceful with eachother.

I don't really know what to say when someone talks about these things. It's hard to not sound overexaggerated and almost disingenuous.

All I can say is that after reading it yesterday, I couldn't even muster a response that'd be good enough for something as extreme as this and coming back to it today still made me take a minute to just think of what even to say. So here I am, having not said almost anything. I personally can't imagine something like this happening to me. I'm in a lucky position thanks to this. But that doesn't mean that those who have experienced this are doomed. You've already seen your dad kick cancer's ass before. If there's anything there, then the only difference is that your dad's already got the experience to do it more efficiently. Have hope. Perhaps it won't be anything bad. I hope my response ain't too stupid.

All the best.

No it's not stupid at all and i have the exact same thing not knowing really well how to respond to such situations, and some will just say wish you the best, or good luck etc, and you could have said the same but you actually tried to say something a little more and i can appreciate that. :)

And yeah one has to keep hope, personally i always find the waiting the hardest, atleast when you know things you can then lay back or have a plan. He's also taking ginger root pills each day, we read it could help in attacking cancer cells (offcourse as a supplement on top of treatments), we both believe in that it doesn't hurt to try atleast.

Anyway, cheers.

Best wishes for the physical, emotional, mental and financial health of your family and you. Oh I bought a brandless gaming chair that looks just like yours, and yes it took me a long time to adjust to sitting in the correct posture.

I don't know how much yours cost, but i am sure brandless ones can be just as good. ;) I even found ones that go for 400 euro, i mean what more softness could one's behind need? Does it come with silk cushions, massages? :p

I hear you, have a sick husband and a sick Mum, both having serious health issues: that can drain you!

Damn......that chair looks mighty comfy!
Enjoy it to the max!

Wish it was just black, might be tempted to save up for it myself then....
But that RED just screams: GAMING! LOL

wishing you the best, know your life isn't easy either!

My dad got "cured" of the cancer (I personally don't believe he had it in the first place) but has had severe side effects of irritable skin itchiness due to the chemo.
They've tried literally everything to resolve this, but nothing works. Sometimes he wishes he was dead.
Personally I doubt the medical practitioners, they get funded to make people go through chemo treatment, and I think anything that "looks" like cancer gets treated as such, and fucks up the lives of the patient and family more than if they were to just naturally live out their life as it was ordained to them.

Sorry, end rant. I hope your dad is ok, and gets proper treatment from the doctors.
