During the sale I assume tons of people will be crafting badges to get the holiday cards. Prices aren't going to go down too much til close to the end of the sale (assuming previous trends stay the same)

It's getting crazy, people are paying 0,77€ for 1000 gems on the market. But after the auction event the only thing you'll be able to do with gems is crafting boosters (or selling them), a lot of people will remain with unused gems, because they failed to win a game.
So people will craft boosters, they will unpack them or not but we can be pretty sure it will happen. Maybe Steam has prepared another event during the sale, that will require crafting badges like the one last year.
What do you think?
