To enter my whitelist and be eligible to enter any of my future whitelist giveaways/group restricted giveaways, I will be selecting the best (most EPIC) posts in this thread.

Your post can contain:

  • A link to some epic music (preferably long length or a playlist, preferably electronic music, rock, instrumental, bass).
  • A link to a long length compilation, playlist, mix, w/e of epic game/movie soundtracks
  • A detailed description of a life experience you had that you find funny or amuzing.
  • An interesting/fun video.
  • A game recommendation (you must write a little review - what makes you think the game is awesome) - preferably long lists of awesome games.
  • A movie/anime/visual novel/television series recommendation (write a review explaining why you think it is amazing).
  • Epic art (wallpapers, videos, websites, any art content that you find visually stunning)
  • Anything else that you think is extremely EPIC and deserves to be posted.

You can post multiple times with different things (just don't post anything that breaks SG rules please). If I really like whatever you posted, you'll be on my EPIC whitelist.

Helpful clues about my tastes:

  • I love visual novels. I really enjoyed Chaos;Head, Killer Queen and Danganronpa.
  • I love epic game/movie soundtracks. I love mixed versions of game/movie soundtracks.
  • I love electronic music and most of its subgenres and flavors e.g. (trance, trancecore, techno, freeform, etc). I also love Celtic music, Metal Opera (e.g. Rhapsody of Fire, Avantasia, etc), rock, and extremely unique genres/subgenres in general.
  • I love games with immersive plots like Bioshock Infinite, To the Moon, Mass Effect. I absolutely love Resident Evil and Metal Gear games. I also like Awesomenauts, Batman games, and games with female playable characters in general :3
  • I love the series The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Supernatural and Sherlock. I am planning to watch Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Flash and Gotham.

You were asking for wallpapers. Here is a collection (they even call it an exhibition) of wallpapers some artists create annually especially for the linked site. Awesome imo.

Editing for book recommendations, I just noticed you were asking for some: Some of the best lengthy epic sagas I have ever read are Tad Williams' writings. Four books in the Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn saga (a story developing around a young lad who is searching for a sword to, yeah well, save the world) and also four books in the Otherland saga (kind of cyberpunk story about a young dying boy who lives a second life in a computerworld, but not via a computer but an implemented chip, so that everything is "real", and there discovering a worldwide conspiracy). Such a good read!
I can also recommend Robin Hobb's The Farseer Trilogy, a story developing around a kid who has a magical connection with a wolf. I loved it.

I'm not very much into VNs I'm afraid, the only one I played was Cinders, and I didn't finish it because I found it a bit boring, as there was nothing else to do but reading and clicking.

That's exactly what VNs are :3
Having absolutely no gameplay allows for a much more comprehensive plot than in games like Mass Effect or Bioshock Infinite. You can accomplish in terms of plot with a VN what you can't in an AAA, or even an anime.

Hm, as I said, what I played so far was not very convincing to me. Maybe it was because of the so very well known story. What's your most favourite VN?

My most favorite so far is Danganronpa. But I recommend you to play Chaos;Head to get a feel of what this genre is capable of! If you play that one and don't enjoy it, then I won't try to get you into VNs anymore :3

Where can I get this? I searched around a bit on the site you linked and even googled it, but all I found was Japanese. That's a language I can't even read, let alone understand :)

Some "less" popular series worth checking out:

  • Spartacus (brutal action + decent story)
  • Turn (decent s01, very good s02)
  • Orphan black (Strong s01)
  • Rome (one of personal favourites)
  • Vikings (like GOT but with vikings, a bit less politics and more action)
  • Marco Polo (it's good, but not THAT good)
  • Suits (strong story + humor)
  • The newsroom (one of the best drama series i've seen)

No action game is the same while you're listening to this: (fairly unique haha)

I'm going to extend the deadline and post more GAs for whitelists only, but I want the suggestions now to focus mostly on Visual Novels and Game Suggestions. Recommending game with a detailed analysis based on experience of the games I have on my wishlist is also appreciated.

If you don't know it yet, you should try out Supreme Commander (first part, not the second). Has dual monitor support, which is nice, but makes it hard to move to the left (or right) on the map. Planetary Annihilation is almost exactly the same like it.
It has quite a lot of units and most units can be upgraded (maybe it was only the buildings, I'm not quite sure anymore). It's also possible to extend the game with mods and there are some available (I'm sure you're familiar with google).

And maybe Cities In Motion (first part). I prefer it over the second part. The second part has a crappy loading screen that destroys everything :D

For the rest of your wishlist is our taste too different ;)
