I don't remember well, since I saw its video almost 10 years ago (so obviously it's not a recent game).

It was a pixelized game where your character was trying to survive a zombie apocalypse in a city. I could say it looked like lego, but for real graphics were way simpler than that. It looked like a 3D game, but everything was pixelized and looked 2D. Maybe 2.5D is a better description, but graphics were not realistic at all.

If I had to get a reference of the visuals of the game, I would say it looked like Zelter. Graphics were simpler than Zelter, it was more urban and, at least on the video I saw, there was no direct confront against the zombies. It was more like a zombie apocalypse survival simulator.

Graphics looked simple and even silly, but the gameplay looked to be well elaborate, though it didn't look so complicated. Most of time you got into empty houses to try to find something useful to survive, like food or time to rest (I can't remember what you could get). Walking on streets was rare and a risk, since zombies were there always following you, so staying indoors was a better choice. Eventually, though, you had to move to other places, or else you would end trapped in the same place without resources (again, I can't remember what resources you could get). I remember the video ended when the character got into an other house, locked the doors and decided to sleep there for some hours. However, it appeared a message that during that time zombies managed to break into the house and kill the character (it was just a message, no scene was shown).

Thank you in advance!

Sounds like Project Zomboid

Yeah, it could be that, if it has ever been more cartoonish. The visuals I see now are too realistic to say it is what I saw. The video I saw like 10 years ago didn't seem to have any texture at all

Project Zomboid's artstyle changed a lot over the years. Look at this video from the pre alpha here. It sounds a lot like what you are describing, maybe this is it.

If it's really Project Zomboid what I'm searching for, it's kinda frustrating... the graphics and gameplay from 10 years ago were way more charming

I agree with damianea103.
Just searched 'project zomboid alpha' and some of images look very similar to the art style.

Cataclysm:Bright Nights

I doubt this is the game you're looking for but it's also a zombie survival game and it's free.

It could be Cataclysm as well, though it seems more recent...
