It is less waste, because you can always sell that knife on market or even cash, which with game is like... unlikely. yes, on opskins you can actually cash your skins with paypal

Knife skins are a waste of money. I got a flip and a huntsman right now, but I got them via trading items from a mmo. If I had the option I would have taken keys instead. Save the money for games instead. Much more fun than a skin.

Why even bother getting the damn knife skin, it's a skin, it does nothing, it's not worth your money. Buy some game and enjoy hours of entertainment or even buy like 5-10 games with 20$ during sales. Buy a ton of cheap games and give them away on this site. Anything would be better than wasting that money on a knife.

If you can wait few months: knives always drop in price when new operation appears, you can grab those cheapest ones for around 30€ then (next one will be probably around November-December).
If you can't wait, I guess you should watch out the prices in next days, especially Sunday - there's big CSGO tournament, big tournament means lots of bets, lots of bets means lots of people wanting to sell their wins - there's a chance some knife drop in price, but that's not guaranteed.
As for buying keys to trade for knives - you'd need to check some trade forums, but I wouldn't be surprised getting knife from market would be cheaper, especially with those low-tiered knives. But I really don't follow knives market, so I have no idea.
My small budget loves Falchion Knives - they have custom anims (unlike Guts or Flips, which only have custom draw anims - well, at least Gut for sure, Flip I think too, but might be wrong) and aren't expensive (like others). But lots of people hate that draw anim...

Hi, I'm in the way to getting a knife in cs:go. I get almost 20euros by selling cards from games and my math is telling me that I will get ~20euros more maybe I will get some more from other ways.
