My idea to stay cool- Go to your local library or Costco for good air conditioning. Also, you can browse their books.
As long as you, a family member, or friend has a Costco membership, you can chill out.

I don't know cause I'm a puddle of melted fluff right now.
But then we had -12C in March so that's usually followed by a massive endless heat wave and sure enough we hit 40C a month later. So I wasn't expecting a cool summer. Still, we've had almost 4 weeks worth of 35-38 since the end of June so I'd take -10 gladly. At least when it's cold you can get warm. When it's hot, unless you live in a fridge or make things worse with AC....
