I wouldn't say it's my all time favorite, because I can't remember something else right now, and I've watched plenty of movies to be sure that I've heard a lot of great soundtracks, but a recent favorite is the soundtrack from the film Ballerina. It's a pretty average movie as far as the story goes, but it's absolutely amazing when it comes to soundtrack and cinematography.

It was not a movie soundtrack per se. I first heard of the band from the Elvis movie soundtrack. I looked around and found the above song, which I love much, much more. So I posted that instead of the Elvis soundtrack. For reference, the soundtrack was "If I Can Dream."
P.S. Their rendition of 'Begging' is also great.

I don't know what my favorite movie soundtrack song is, but a great original one that randomly came to mind is "Love Song for a Vampire", from "Bram Stoker's Dracula", which also has an epically great score.
