Welcome Back HB Main Bundle! What tier shall you buy?
I kinda want Beyond Earth, but they'll probably have a complete edition before the end of the year and during a sale will end up cheaper than this. Only stuff in this I don't have is the xcom dlc's, so, meh.

Didn't try it myself but they say it's basically Civ V with less content and another frame. Probably will get better with a GOTY edition

I tried it during its free weekend a while back, and it's not a bad game, but it's not great either. It simply lacks content. Might be good in another expansion, but the base game itself is not much to write home about.
And this is exactly the same problem that Civ V had at launch.
If you want a Civ in space, check out Alpha Centauri on GOG, it's excellent.

Yeah, I also tried it for a bit, then went straight back to Civ 5. It's largely the same game with a new skin, with a few interface upgrades, but it had a couple of elements which irritated me compared to its predecessor. I hear the Rising Tide expansion improves the game significantly though.

I tried it some time ago on a free weekend on Steam. Can confirm it's just the same as Civ V with like one extra feature about endings. When I played it I promised I would never buy it before complete edition which would add more new content :)

Save for "maybe" rising tide and starships, I own all I want from this.
Civ5 being the core game only is shocking though, by now that should just be the complete one with both expansions... I mean, it's a solid game without them I guess, but considering age... maybe one or both of them are the yet-to-be-revealed final bta-item?

Nice games and all, but it's not for me. Would have likely picked up tier 1 for gibs if they were separate keys but it's not be.
Got all of tier 1.
Tier 2 - Missing XCOM DLCs but never played the base game yet so I don't even know if I'd want them. Also missing Starships but I'm not particularly drawn to it
Tier 3 - Never even got into Civ 3, 4 or 5 yet and would like to sit down and give them a good try before I'd even consider Beyond Earth. I think I'd like the CIv games but at $15 it's easy to say no to say no this one when I could be trying the others.

Civ 5 was where I started, and I think it's a pretty good place to get into the series if you'd like to give it a go :)

Stopped reading here. All I want is Civ IV Complete, so if I can't give away the rest, it's not worth it to me.

ok, sorry, there are addons
i haven't activated it, because i was watching handball Euro match ;) and wrote what I wrote after reading info on another site, where there were many voices, that there is only the base
now I have activated it and ... there are addons, but added as separate titles in the lib
