I just wanted to share some games with my friend and wondered if I have to login on my friends pc and give him the permissions for sharing or is there an easier way?

No, you have to be logged onto his machine to verify it once, before you can share your games with him.

No, leaving your cave and visiting your friend is probably easier than anything else. ;)

Yeah I know but I'm on kind kind of holiday in the USA right now and thought my friend in germany could play some games of me during this time.
...So leaving my cave is not an option ;)

Well, there is the new "Steam Family Sharing" thing, which is actually in beta and it LOOKS promising...

But then, I'd just recommend this small read to everyone: Clicky.

Not sure what to say about it, I didn't even test the thing yet (not in the beta) but from what I hear, this is just disgusting.
