Ubisoft sent out an email this morning that AC Revelations is available for $35.99 for today only. The link provided by the email only shows the PS3 and 360 version on sale, but you can also get the download version for $34.99.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for anyone who doesn't get notices from Ubisoft.

yeah Amazon sale is Assassin's Creed Day. I have a $5 off credit, it's tempting for ACR $30 bucks. Not sure if it's steam redeemable.

I really wanted to buy it myself, but I only have enough money for one game right now and I'm saving that for Skyrim.

For me it's cheaper than that on steam without any deals.

The Russian games always seem to be cheaper (could have gotten Skyrim on Black Friday for something around $20). But the problem is, if you aren't Russian then you have to mod and manually update the games in order to make it the equivalent of the English version. This is just more hassle than many people are willing to deal with.

Skyrim isn't available in Russian Steam.

You're talking about retail keys, not the ones you buy on steam, which are the same as in the rest of the world.

BF3/MW3/Skyrim were all huge debacles the first few weeks to get working with Russian cd-keys or what not. Part of the 'not worth the time and money' category of things.

Considering the hassle you have to do to get these things working, you might as well just pirate the damn game. It's the same amount of work. (I DO NOT CONDONE PIRACY! PIRACY IS BAD!!! DO NOT PIRATE THE GAME!!!)

1) There is no Skyrim in Russian Steam store.

2) The retail version will not work outside Russia even if activated through VPN.

Right, I didn't mean that you could get Skyrim in the Russian Steam store. I simply said that the Russian version of Skyrim was cheaper. Your second point is why I said "...if you aren't Russian then you have to mod and manually update the games in order to make it the equivalent of the English version. This is just more hassle than many people are willing to deal with."
