If one game in a series goes on sale that usually means the other games in that series with go on sale with it. Wait until you see Skyrim on a Daily/Flash deal then check the prices for Oblivion/Morrowind. They'll almost certainly be lower then.

Always wait a bit during the sales. There is a finite/known end to the overall sale, but you never know if they will drop the price further. Either way, with these two great games it would just be icing on top of the cake!
(The cake is a lie.)
Happy holidays! ;-)

Okay thanks guys, I didn't know if since they are on sale now if they would go on sale later (this is my first year using Steam and I didn't pay attention during the other sales).

I would get the collection but I don't really want Brink, I'm sure I could get that and just gift that though... But ya, if the whole thing goes on sale after Christmas and I have enough money I might get it. The Elder Scrolls games are my main priority though.

First rule of steam sales:

Okay... I didn't know that... I'm new to Steam (got it in March) and the only sales I participated in were the Autumn and Halloween sales and I didn't pay attention to how the daily deals worked.

I have played Oblivion, my brother owns it but I hate using his account so I want it myself. I enjoy Skyrim and I do find it easy in a lot of places (which is why I wish I had it on the PC so I could get mods to make it harder). The only TES games I haven't played are Morrowind, Battlespire, and Redguard. But yes i do realize they are almost nothing like Skyrim. The lore is still there, the great environment is still there (in my opinion), and many of the little things are there, but the problem is how easy it is.

Lol, I've only wanted that one for story... Plus I enjoy owning an entire collection, like how I will never trade any of the Halo games because I want the whole series.

Well okay then. I hate people that say Oblivion and Morrowind suck because Skyrim is better. Being a owner of all the games Skryim is terrible compared to some of them. They dumbed it down too much for people new to the franchise. Morrowind is amazing. It looks good (and even better now with the graphics mod) and gives you a real sense of adventure since it doesn't tell you the exact place you have to go to. You could always set Skyrim to very hard.

I do know that Skyrim is not as good but I play more for story... I don't know much of the story of Morrowind but I do know the story of Oblivion and I love it. I'm not saying either game sucks, I'm the one who is wanting to buy them! But I also think Skyrim has some things that are better, I like the freedom of their skill tree even though after you become a master sneak, pickpocket, and lockpick, it is so easy to just go up behind someone and assassinate them...

I know you aren't. I'd wait for the flash deals, etc. Also, check out the TES official site to get Arena and Daggerfall free. You have to select them from the "games" drop down selection, scroll down on the page, and download. :)

I have actually already got them. :D I was on their site earlier this year and found it. I tried playing them but they are somewhat hard with he combat and how you can't equip any armor you want. I just never got too far in them... I wish Redguard and Battlespire went free...

Meh, the first like 5-6 I did were pretty easy, you just have to get the combat mechanics down.

Ya that's the problem with them... I would just stare at my map and hope I would know what I'm doing... Plus, I have to cover every corner so I can get as much loot as possible...

Just wait for flash or daily deal, they will both be at 75%

I know this, I was already planning on getting the deluxe edition.

I am a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls games, but since I started with Skyrim, I haven't bought Oblivion and Morrowind yet... I have been dying to get them and now that they are on sale, I want to buy them both... Unfortunately, they are only 40% off... So, I have been seeing threads all around talking about how they may get bigger discounts. Should I wait to see if they do or do you think they will?
