bf3 performance and bf4 performance

I have been playing bf4 for a year now and i wondered how the bf3 was, cause i never played it, then i got it for free when it was and i realized that it runs worse than bf4 on my rig... do you guys have experienced it?

no,but i have similar problem i can play assasins creed black flag with out lagg,but minecraft not :D
