Not sure when and where but I got the game and most of the DLC.
Might snag the last one for 63 cents.
Thanks the the heads up. Might give this a play.

Interestingly, I already have all four of the Endless base games, and ONLY this one DLC. Huh. I wonder how that happened. Oh well, the Endless games are fun, if a little simplified compared to other games in their respective genres (i.e. Endless Space vs Stellaris, Endless Legend vs Civilization, etc). I do like that they're all tied together (through Dust if nothing else) though.

I tried yesterday to register, but the site didn't like my e-mail, something about not allowed... so I closed everything and went to sleep.
Tried today again. I could register all right, but when I tried to claim the game after linking my Steam account, after login with Steam and allowing Sega to activate the game, all I got was a new page with Sonic saying something about Error 404... Game was not claimed.
Tried shortly later, this time nothing happened after giving permission to Sega, it just went back to Rewards. Tried again, still nothing.
Tried a third time, still the same, but I noticed something quickly showing and disappearing in the bottom part of the screen.
Tried a fourth time, and quickly captured the screen to be able to read it. It said:
Temporarily out of stock! We will be re-filling shortly, thanks for your patience.

What's the point of these free dlc on Steam being actual dlcs instead of regular updates for the game? They even have "update" on the title. I don't mind it, but it's just a little weird.

It allows you to toggle the DLC on and off as you desire; It's also a gesture for purists, those who are ambivalent about certain DLCs and want to save HD space [thus giving an advantage versus an in-game toggle, while also not requiring additional coding to implement such a feature], those who may dislike a given DLC, etc. It can also help avoid breaking saved games in some cases.
Finally, there's a much bigger marketing impact if you make the free major updates externally visible.
Overall, there's a lot of potential benefits to the approach, for consumers, developers, and publishers all.

This is a smart perspective. Thanks for pointing it out. It looks like the benefits outweigh the cons if any exist to begin with.
