need ideas for an "How to Enter" section

I love this! I'm all fresh out of ideas right now. After 16 hours of work yesterday (and more to come today), I don't even want to lift a single brain cell. I wouldn't mind contributing some keys, though.

Create a giveaway and put the real key for that game in there. Later on, edit the giveaway and add more keys - I think that's possible! never done it myself but seem to remember a discussion where people said they edited giveaways to add dlc keys to a giveaway of the main game.

In terms of presenting the actual giveaway - could be a group recruited from here, or behind a sgtools filter to limit the number of people entering, maybe even an itstoohard quiz to make sure people know the deal. i.e. "Will you activate these keys or give them away?"

You could try and put a Google form behind a small puzzle where you enter your SG username, and then just roll a random number and choose the form with that number.
Maybe a jigidi, image puzzle etc.

This is an excellent thread and I approve of what you're doing here. :D

Ideas? Sorry, it's three in the morning, the only ideas I have are about the shortest path to my bed. :P

Use part of the key for the main giveaway, as the password to access the keys that go with it.

That way once the winner has opened their key, only you and they will have the password.

Just rent the Colosseo and let the participants fight to death for the keys, like we used to do before social media.

loving this concept of giving away bundle for them to get cv :). but wouldnt know a good way for this besides maybe have them make the giveaways for your mentioned games and keys [but yeah could also be abused or lack working keys for their respected region .

You could do it the Pen & Paper Roleplay way.

Let one or multiple ones, create a thread, write a story/short adventure with multiple answer possibilities at point A, B, C etc.. Make lists with the people on route 1, 2, 3.
Do more possible answer points to split them more and add the needed lists for route 4, 5, 6.
And then give them all the code to list XYZ and let them pick one of the offered games or make a dice roll to pick one winner from each route, that get then the code for list XYZ (google doc, protected textfile, link to a discord channel, link to a picture of the keys or whatever).

The winner(s) have invested then some time and are more involved, which should raise the chance they do GAs with the key(s).

No vac/trade banned accounts should always be a requirement.

You can ask the person who you're giving the keys to make giveaways for said games on their SG account. When those giveaways finish, send them the keys (worldwide and not region restricted/locked) and they would have to use those keys to give to the winners or they risk getting a whole load of negative feedbacks. The only issue is that person would have to trust the keys you give them do work. With regards to picking the winner for this, i think the easiest is to do a thread asking people to reply to your thread who will agree to do this and then using a RNG to pick the winner. Regardless, best of luck with it as it sounds great mate!

It took me like ten minutes to understand what you were asking for, I'm gonna blame this headache I have today for that delayed reaction. So from what I get you want a way to decide a winner that also allows you to deliver the keys without you having to do it manually through chat, right?
Does the "key" box on the create GA page still allows for links? Because that would be a pretty straight forward solution, just linking a page with all the keys as a text file.

If you have time you could make some kind of games related contest.
Like gather users that want to participate, then ask them to earn certain achievements from their unplayed sg wins xD And give them idk - a week to do so.
Making it fair would be a hassle though xD
And time consuming, I suppose.

You could use a sgtools gate where you create restrictions of your choice and ask the people to comment. And then select the winner randomly.
This is a really nice idea. It took me years to climb the ladder but I'm still motivated to get further If possible.
