Do you prefer playing single player or multiplayer games?
Star Trek Timelines is alright, though it depends on one being a fan of the mythos.
I haven't used this site much due to owning Tabletop Simulator but it's free and seems great: https://en.boardgamearena.com/

It's a one-time experience, but next time that you are with a friend, you should try We Were Here, where you two work together to escape a castle ^^

I was just about to suggest this as well! Is one of my favourite f2p games, requires a mic from both people though. :)

I usually post once or twice a month, and not always about recommendations. My last two threads this month were asking about mmorpg recommendations and then HTML help recs so I see where it would seem that way :P
Got those on the list, thanks :)

Orc must die unchained is pretty nice TD game, you can play with friends outside your region
One time I tried to play with my friend at Europe, it didn't really affect the gameplay at all (lagging, etc)
Maybe I'm already lagging in the first place, who knows :P
Alien swarm reactive drop is a good game with/out friends too
I don't know what kind of games you're looking for, but so far those two are pretty good for me

I love multiplayer, and unless its a free weekend or trial or whatever other reasons, i play single player first, then multiplayer and stick with it if its fun. The Last of Us and Uncharted 4 have both fantastic campaigns AND multiplayer, i wish the multiplayer was a standalone of both games on steam (if you own either game, play its mps). Anyway, play these fun free multiplayer games mate, ive enjoyed most of these and still do.
Crimecraft (it closes on the last august day so hurry up and play)
Black Squad
Heroes of Newerth
Awesomnauts
Tactical Intervention
Battleborne
Crossout
Paladins
Path of Exile
Warface
Warframe
Atlas Reactor
Dirty Bomb
OpenRA
World of Tanks
Starcraft(original
The old Command and Conquer games
Age of Empires 3 (torrented version works via game ranger)
Renegade X
Warfare Online
Infinity Wars
Battlefield Heroes (how to is linked from my profile)
Battlefield 2 (how to is linked from my profile)
Battlefield 2142 (how to is linked from my profile)
Battleforge (how to is linked from my profile)
Call to Arms
Theres ofcourse a ton more but thats all i can remember at the moment. I can suggest you also the best multiplayer games on mobile too if you want. And ofcourse, keep looking for more by yourself on steam, its easy to find the good ones. AND ofcourse always try to play the free to play weekend games, last weekend we had Rainbow Six Siege and XCOM 2, both fantastic games, i hated that i had to pick over which one to play, so i tried paying both and had a good time, shame il never be able to afford them or any game realy, thats why these weekends matter so much, so dont miss them!

That's a pretty good start.

War Thunder is too complicated, couldnt figure out how to switch to tanks and the account switching, merging messed it up... Hawken has been going down the shitter with the new devs and even before that, i personaly got bored because of other, to me, better games out there...its still a good game though, or used to be atleast....EVE Online is not worth it, too complicated, too long to take to learn and...its spaceships, its boring.

Arent Trackmania, Blacklight and Tribes Ascen dead though? And i wouldnt recommend Fallout Shelter, its a fustrating mobile game that has no place on pc and is litearly a waste of time, theres nothing to achieve there and the road to achieving is too long and too unfun. Everyone who tries it, quits sooner or later cause its horrible.

Here's an idea: I'll move my list so that it is a direct response to the OP. That way, perhaps you will not feel compelled to dump on my picks simply because you have a different opinion.

LOL!
Go back and read your responses. Then ask yourself, "Have I criticized anyone else's suggestions in this manner?"

I'll add the following, as they haven't been mentioned, yet: I tried to include some variety.

Blacklight Retribution was amazing when It started (Beta Access), then some updates and Arc Soft with his 3rd party software screwed everything.

I recently started playing Secret world legends on steam and i am really enjoying the game and the story. Consider it plus its a f2p that doesnt make you feel you need to buy anything they have done a wonderful job at that part

Yeah i agree thats why i recommended it unless you do dungeons or lairs , there is a big chance that you wont encounter others often . I am in game 50+ hours almost 50 and there are few times i saw other do the same quest as i do. Plus it helps that is story heavy like a single player game

Played some of Secret World but 15 FPS wasn't that fun :| but the game is incredibly lore-heavy, content-centered quest-heavy that can be done alone or running along with friends. The investigative missions are superfun to work out together - it's a great MMO just to play for fun along with someone, if not caring for raids and such.

The investigation missions can be both pain and fun in a few of them i had to google hehe. I have no problem with fps and i play on ultra myself but i do have a heavy gaming pc and laptop , have you tried lower settings?

Town of Salem is a great Werewolf-styled game (Town with town, mafia,, serial killer and various other, hidden roles and individual goals for them, murdering happens night, hanging the day :D )
Not free on Steam, but Steam can crossplay with the browser version. Has some hiccups and quite a design flaw here and there, but the game itself is nice

Can you share your mmorpg list :) I'm looking for a good no-p2w mmorpg but no luck so far...

The above link goes to a list of "online co-op" "free to play" games on Steam's store, sorted by user reviews. There are 78 games that fit that criteria.
Edit: You can tweak the settings for more specific genres or change "online co-op" to "online multi-player", etc.

I have a list of great multiplayer games, but not the budget. Now I'm looking for some suggestions for free online multiplayer games that are on steam. The genre doesn't matter, although I'd prefer no mmorpg suggestions since I have another list for that. Also doesn't matter if they are big or small, as long as they are fun :)
I checked the search bar and found a few threads like this but none asking for free game suggestions.
