I guess it would reward people for logging in often or something right? But I guess there are people who log in every hour to enter giveaways so they will never hit the 300p cap.

You mean the more you give, the more points, or at least greater your points cap? That's not too bad of a suggestion. Other GA sites like Steamcompanion and Gala don't have a cap on points either.
