tell me the best game in your opinion about the rainbow six series, the ghost recon series and the splinter cell series

First game of each series was the best, with tom clancy's it's always downhill ride.

I dunno. Tom Clancy's new ghost recon look like it's going to be the best yet.

To me, it doesn't look at all like Ghost Recon.

It reminds me of if Ghost Recon took a Shadow of Mordor approach to how you play the game. That's what has me so excited.

To me GR has been more of a tactical FPS. I'm not saying the new one looks bad, it just doesn't give off the GR feel to me. (I've only played up to GRAW 2 on the PC)

Hmm. The added feature to strategically plan out every attack and be able to accomplish you mission in such a high variety of ways, as well as it still seeming like a cover-based shooter, still seems pretty tactical to me. No idea if it'll be any less hardcore than the older ones, but all these massive improvements have me hyped more than I am for The Division.

err you do know the first Ghost Recon's and Rainbow Six games had that with absolute insane detail and variety? You literally not only planned each phase of an op, but timed it as well for each fireteam. One slight messup and you could lose and entire squad.

That's not what I meant. I also meant the inclusion of the ability to roam this open world and CHOOSE your mission as well, including your means to get there.

True

It just isn't Ghost Recon at all. Period. The best and last Ghost Recon was the first. Rainbow Six died after Rainbow Six 3.

That is your opinion. Your closed-minded rejection of the idea of anyone else having an opinion is something you should have reversed before trying to engage in any form of debate where you try to state something as "better". Tolerance sparks mature and productive debates. Tolerance, is what you appear to lack. Now if you do respond, please drop the arrogance and let's try to make this productive.

So you basically rage when someone disagrees with your opinion? Top kek.

The "new" Ghost Recons and Rainbow Six games share absolutely nothing with the originals other than title. That was the statement that got made. It would be like making a racing game and calling it Quake 5. I would actually check up on the history of Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six before commenting further, since the new Ghost Recon game shares more in common with Just Cause than any Ghost Recon game. Hell I'll even send you a copy if you wish.

No, I want you to disagree with my opinion but in a more elaborative manner than you did. Not make blunt statements like you did that show absolutely no room for opinion. Or maybe I suck at interpreting statements with no emotional cues because text. I don't know, you tell me.

Also what is this "Top kek"?

Then you should be aware then that the current series of Ghost Recon shares as much in common with the original as a Rabbit and a Stapler.

And I never said that Future Soldier, for example, was a replica of tthe original ghost recon.

I greatly enjoyed Splinter Cell - Convicition.
It's a great stealth game cuz it makes being very stealthy easy but at the same time punishes being overly cautious. I've also played Blacklist but that didn't grab me as much.

Haven't played any of the others (except HawX which is terrible and awesome at the same time).

H.A.W.X. 1 & 2 are tempting me big time right now. Part 2 is looking terribly broken and most say unplayable, but I still feel the need to get it. One user wrote as of June 1 (this year) that he doesn't know why people say it's broken and he plays it just fine, so it looks like it's a finicky fix required to get it running.

Never played the 2nd, had enough of protection missions after the first. There is however one mission in Rio that I could just play over and over again...in fact I did on the demo...pity the rest of the game wasn't that good. And yet the game is still good enough that I bought it again on sale today (original copy was retail).

It's not broken bro they are just saying it cuz they don't know how to play the game properly and they suck

There's a lot of hating on Conviction due to it being less of a pure stealth title but considering the story Fisher's approach makes perfect sense. He's no longer bound by Governmental protocols and I'm pretty sure after that revelation from Grim I'd do whatever it took as well. Not liking the game is perfectly reasonable but just digging at it because it allowed a more open approach is ridiculous.

Tom - casual random name
Clancy - sounds like a pig's name
^ wasn't that in Simpsons the fat cop's 2nd or 3rd name "Chief Clancy Wiggum" or something

thats about all the reason i need not to look further into their games, that and i had 1 Splinter Cell Title on PS2 - which was ok ...

For Rainbow Six, the third one is by far the best. The first one was good, the second one was great, the third one was probably the second best of its type (after SWAT 4). Lockdown was so-so, as was both the Vegas titles.

The original Ghost Recon was excellent. The attention paid to audio in particular was very nice and noticeable enough that reviewers of the time would usually comment on it.

For Rainbow Six, +1 to the praise for the third one, Raven Shield. The crunch of snow underfoot was cool, and the tactical planning and execution was fun.

For Splinter Cell, I've only really played the first one (I think?).

All of those were back in my piratey days. Happy to own some of them legitimately now (as funds allow) on Steam.

Both must-have ! (if you like stealth games of course)

I've only played the Splinter Cell games and in my opinion, the original Splinter Cell was the best, followed by Pandora Tomorrow and Chaos Theory. Double Agent was average and, sadly, Conviction was too much action-oriented for my taste.

Everyone's favorite Splinter Cell is usually Chaos Theory, and I agree

Only played the Splinter Cell series. Best of them is Chaos Theory. Game-play is highly based on the famous light and shadows system from the Thief series, which makes stealth a lot easier than in games based on line of sight and cover, like Dishonored and Deus Ex HR. But in compensation, if you fuck up the stealth, combat is extremely hard and unforgiving and it's a lot better to just not bother and reload, cause you'll die very quickly. You have more options to pass through than in Thief (given the modern say setting and the abundance of gadgets, such as wall-cameras and the like), but nothing quite as complex as the original Deus Ex. Also, the levels are a lot smaller and more linear than in the Thief games.

You just listed so many fantastic games. I want to play them all right now simultaneously even though that's impossible! :p

I have to correct myself, though. Stealth in Dishonored isn't that hard, cause, even without any shadows to conceal yourself, the blinking power makes backstabbing guards pretty easy. And not even in Deus Ex HR, cause it's pretty easy to just tranquilize everyone. Games like Splinter Cell, Thief and Deus Ex require a lot of planning ahead while waiting motionless in the shadows. They have a tactical element to them.

Ubisoft owns the rights to the name and they just slap it on any game that's even remotely tactical or stealth-oriented. It baffles me.

Ghost Recon looks good, I'm not sure what to think about The Division. Both E3 presentations have been about the same type of footage. The newest one looks like a possible downgrade in graphics, but for PC this shouldn't be an issue. As long as it doesn't feel like destiny where they reuse areas and there is minutes of load times to "travel." I guess that's a feature of Pseudo MMOs. Lastly I'm cautiously optimistic for Rainbow Six. I've watched many hours of multiplayer on Twitch and it looked like fun only if you have friends to play with. I'm hoping there is a really good campaign and other game modes to enjoy.

Rainbow Six: played lockdown for 15 minutes; beaten Vegas 2 liked it, I don't know about Siege. Ghost Recon I played Advanced Warfighter 2, it was wonky, I wanna try Future soldier, played F2P Phantoms, actually liked it, looking forward to Wildlands. Splinter Cell played Chaos Theory, my favorite video game, Double Agent was alright, Conviction I liked a lot actually, Blacklist not so much because they retired Michael Ironside. It is my wish for Ubisoft to retire Sam Fisher or at least reboot the franchise, and set it back to its stealth roots.

Splineter Cells ends on Chaos Theory (double agent not bad but each new realese they make adventure game ...)
rainbow six - i only played in vegas 1 and 2. First definifly better than second hope Division will be better...

The original Splinter Cell or really any of the first three. (Personally I like all of them but the first 3 are the best and truest to the series.)
I've only played the R6: Vegas games and even then the first one was too buggy to complete. Vegas 2 was a good though especially iff you have friends to play Terrorist Hunt with.
Haven't played much GR. I did play GR:AW and maybe GR:AW 2 but didn't really stand out to me.

I'm really interested in Siege, The Division, and the new Ghost Recon.

I absolutely LOVE Endwar. I played the 2v2 and 4v4 multiplayer on the 360 so much. I know the Steam version has a problem with the multiplayer Endwar (I hear it doesn't even work). But at the sale price point, its worth the buy just for the single player alone.

Best TC games:

Rainbow Six 3
Chaos Theory - Blacklist is a decent game as well, but I'm a fanboy for the Splinter Cell games.
HAWX is a decent air combat game
