Should we report when we KNOW its fake or when it seems that a giveaway is fake?
If someone doesnt own the game (Neither in inv or game list) & Is giving it away, Is that a good reason to report it?
I dont see any other way of checking if a giveaway is fake... Thats pretty much all you can do.

Be aware that you can hide inventories from public view. Even if you see coupons, that does not mean they don't have the game. Coupons can appear in a public inventory but they may have hidden the games.

...and "keep your Steam Gift inventory private" is the default setting too.

I still constantly see people yelling fake which i find incredibly disrecpectful. and there is no report post button, only report giveway.
Pretty much every giveway i open at least one person says fake or asks for proof... horible manners.

Great to see this policy. I feel bad for the submitters when they even reply saying it's not fake.
Guys, remember we have mods that can check this instead of you calling every fishy giveaway fake.

Greetings community,
We've been holding back this policy for a while now, but it's to the point that we can no longer update with the occasional announcement to remind people to report or submit a ticket instead of commenting. These "fake" comments are the first that anyone will see when looking at a giveaway and it's not fair to the community. More importantly, it's disrespectful to the submitter. Effective immediately:
Thank you for your cooperation.
