Please make guidelines more obvious or add to FAQ the part that talks about creating giveaways. Especially the "Beta keys, guest passes, coupons, and free games should not be given away." part, because I noticed that when people see that some other person created a giveaway of a game that is being/been given away they start screaming in the comments "Reported and blacklisted" and don't really care that the person might be new to this site. And the FAQ doesn't say anything about creating giveaway of games that are being given away... Only guidelines.

So should they add the part about free games to the FAQ?

It's fairly clear at the moment. If you visit the page to create a giveaway, and you haven't created one in the past, you see the attached pop-up.

Whoa, didn't know that. This is pretty neat.

That's handy. I wonder how many just quickly click it away without reading it though. Not that those kind of people would read the FAQ either.

You're starting your first giveaway, but in the background you have the red notification of your ended giveaway. Obviously fake. :P

And? When joining a website, you read the FAQ and the Guidelines. If a person reads one without reading the other, then they obviously don't care. The biggest issue with rule-breakers is that the users simply don't read the FAQ nor the Guidelines at all.

Guidelines can be easily missed though. FAQ is very clearly displayed so there's no excuse for not reading it, but that Guidelines has a small link that you'd have to notice when opening the FAQ page. Just focusing on reading the FAQ and scrolling down will make you miss it.

Edit: Perhaps a drop down menu on the FAQ button that has both FAQ and Guidelines clearly displayed would be better.

One thing which would be nice if a FAQ/Guidelines page which contains the two sections on the same page. Then, the links to the left sidebar would be used to "jump" from one section to the other (while still on the same page). That way, scrolling down the page would display everything you need to know.

[Edit] Your edit is not a bad idea either.

we should translate the faq in 7000 languages, get voice actors to work on them and also give everyone who reads a $60 game.

that will encourage people to read the rules.
