No idea but I missed half the first leg so is it possible to max now?

No, it isn't. You can still get the projects and the 3 daily quests for this last day, but that is it. You can't get the daily quests for the first days anymore. With the 3 daily quests and the projects you will be able to get the bronze badge.

Edit: Sorry, messed that up. The event is actually over so you can't get anything anymore.

From what I know there isn't any way to max it out without doing daily quests. But prizes weren't any major and great so You only lost some profile exp and glory of having gold sprayer bottle. :/

This event was surprisingly short. Wasn't the purpose that people take a look at their backlog and maybe try something new?
How are you expected to play like 5 games every day for 4 days straight?
I guess you just start the games and close it again for the badges but it kinda defeats the purpose imo.

Yeah, totally agreed. This thing should genuinely last at least 21 days. 3 weekends to play games. Mind you, I'm currently in a position where I can play a game every day. But I also have a temporarily relaxed schedule.

Even if you have free time, doesn't mean you want to use it to force yourself to play games.

I'm not entirely sure why you couldn't continue playing them after the event is over, but ok ...

Oh, I certainly will. Don't really care much for the badges anyway tbh.
Just found it weird that the event was so extremely short for no apparent reason.

Steam events have always been like that. They don't care one bit if you play a game you already bought or not. They care to make you check the store daily for new events and deals. If you miss it and are disappointed, then you will check more in the future.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're right.
That's quite crappy and cynical of Valve though. Would be less transparent if the event was longer.

Because that defeats the purpose. The point's to get you to play games, not to start them up, close them and then perhaps playing them later. We're already in that state with unplayed games. "I'll play that later". The event just forces you back to the status quo, in my opinion.

Were it longer, it might give you a push to play some games and also give you a push to just play more overall, which is good for Steam anyways.

The point's to get you to play games

And it does, if you get into the spirit of it further than "where's muh badge!?"

... the point's to get you to play games though... through incentives. Your idea had 10+ years to work, yet a ton of people have a ton of games they haven't played.

That's the entire point. You haven't played a game; here's a small reward if you do play it.

Personally I don't need the badge, which is why I didn't cheat it or legitimately get it. But I'm also not the target. The target's the person who hasn't played their games. If they didn't do it for no reward before then it won't just change because there used to be rewards at some point.
