Generally modern (post-SNES) video game music does nothing for me. The Darius Gaiden soundtrack is an exception, probably because it both fits the Darius game universe so well and the game universe is my kind of thing - a crazy psychedelic technicolour aquatic world populated by boss creatures called things like "ODIOUS TRIDENT" - how could a fish not like that? So the BGM is an eclectic and really (unless I have missed similar examples) quite original mix of seemingly disparate elements and scales, with new surprises in each track. To be honest I do feel these "extend" versions go on for too long to justify sustained dedicated listening, great background ambience though.

Nickelback - Gotta Get Me Some

Let's just say I first heard 1:58 to 2:22 clip of this song in an......ehm... inappropriate video and I could not find what song it was from for months and it was stuck in my head. Finally found it lmao

This pretty damn awesome Indian (!) metal band, Bloodywood (feat. a rapper called Raoul Kerr).
The instruments, singing and overall production values are very good - even the videos are excellently shot and edited.
What's more, I really like the mix of English and "Indian".

  1. "Indian Street Metal" - fantastic song about diversity.
  2. "Indian Folk Metal" - another great song, this time about battling depression.
  3. "Tunak Tunak Tun Metal Version" - cover of the infamous YouTube hit.

I strongly recommend to everyone that likes Metal to check this out.

Honestly I was super skeptical when I saw them at first, but then I was pleasantly surprised and taken aback by the overall level of quality and professionalism involved!

Not a problem, enjoy!
