A bit of an update rather then replying. The cap got pushed back to the bend with a small gap (tried a dime but the hole was too small) I think it's even more stuck now, the clothes hanger is too flexable to do much with it, might be able to hook under it from the nozzle side but that's easier said then done.
The vacuum is fairly old but not as old as the picture one, it was just the first hit I could find with the bend.
There's a few warnings of putting liquids into it and the vacuum doesn't seem strong enough to suck out the cap. I don't think I have anything heavy enough to dislodge it (If I had something long and hard enough, might be able to swatch the bottle cap and it'd fall out.

pour a bunch of sand in the other end and shake it up and down til it pushes it out,or just fill the hose with sand til its full and apply pressure to the end so it forces it out?
if the sand is going past the cap to much to fill it just stick a couple of cotton balls in first and pour the sand on top of those:)

http://i65.tinypic.com/1zyi6s.jpg Basically while I was tidying up by my desk, I accidentally sucked up a plastic bottlecap and it's logged itself at roughly the circled area (not the exact model but same basic idea) the hose detaches but because the cap is after the bend, even if I had something long enough to poke it (I'd need at least 6 feet) it'd also need to be able to go through that corner. It's reachable from the nozzle side (it's a bit less then a foot in) but it's too tight (it seems almost airtight at this point) to push it forward so it'll fall down the hose to freedom.
Don't really have access to any place that deals with vacuums anymore and most google hits seem to lead to the same solution, something long in the hose end so was wondering if anyone out there might have an idea for a solution
