So I worked at a newspaper and I really like the job. Thing is I didn't have a contract and I was working for 1/4 of what I should be earning and under the promise of a contract. They always gave me a date and when that date came they changed until they simply said they don't know when they will offer me a contract. As much as I was pleased with the job I felt like they were taking advantage of me and didn't really care about me.

I can't stop thinking I made the wrong decision but i don't know how much will they keep doing that if I had stayed.

I am now unemployed and sad.

Edit: As many suggested, the smart thing to do was to look for a job before quitting and I absolutely agree but I am a sad piece of bread you can't ask me to be smart. I was really stressed and reaching to some people close to the managers (who will never see me) and they didn't got answers either. I was very frustrated and depressed about how I was being treated so I didn't think it clearly, to give you an idea, I went to work the last day until the lady who will give me answer came and after she said there were no news I just asked if I can get a recomendation letter and left at the middle of the shift.

I also want to thank everybody for their comments and support, I may not answer to many but I've read them all.

All the best to you! Despite the risk you´re taking, feeling ill treated for longer periods ain´t healthy either. You can be sure the suits don´t give a rats ass about your wellbeing for even half a second. To them you´re a number, and the only thing they think about is ways of exploiting you even more.
