New Prey gameplay.

Watch here for 35 minutes of the new Prey game on the PS4.

After watching it, I'm not really impressed by it. Graphics look like they lack textures. In fact, the look like the engine used for Deus Ex Human Revolution. Gameplay looks bland and generic.

But that's just one persons opinion. Watch and see for yourselves.

After skipping around a bit, once you get into the actual gameplay it feels dead. Music is sparse and the ambiance just really isn't there.

I'll be waiting for reviews to see if I should bother waiting 2 years for a good discount or if I should just ignore it completely.

Yes, but I've seen better graphics on some games. Even the new CoD.

Looks like as if they don't know if they want to copy Deus Ex 3, Half-Life 1, or SOMA, so they just randomly throw together whatever and hope it works.
By the way, wasn't the original Prey pretty much a straight-up shooter of "aliens came, kill them" with some psychological horror undertones? Or was it some other 2000s shooter from the time when everyone was making FPS games?

No, that was the original Prey. But it was also more fun and unique.

I so barely remember it. I remember it took forever and a half for it to finally get released, but the hardware requirements were so through the roof that I couldn't really play it too much.
