Day after day, for 10 days now I log in at the time for the new daily but everyday a find bundles not enticing at all. As I see it, this is just an excuse to sell more.

Ok, a part goes for charity but don't forget a part goes to developers. I agree many of this games are way cheaper with this bundles yet more expensive if we compare with 7-10 games bundles (I respect everyone should earn a fair ammount of money for their work, maybe previous bundles were too much of a bargain).

Maybe I just got used to pay cheap over the average bundles that were made of great quality games. Maybe I don't like the fix price tiers of 6, 10, 15 whatever dollars. All in all I'm just saying the average quality of the bundles has been lowered a ton, and at least to my liking, I'd prefer less bundles but more appealing. Last bundle I bought wss long long ago.

Think of it this way: Humble will have a lot more purchasers from an epic bundle that lasts for 2 weeks, than an epic bundle that only lasts for 1 day. I expect there will be an amazing bundle on Tuesday. (I hope :P)

Honestly, the daily bundles are more of a spotlight similar to how Groupees does certain game spotlight sales.

Yes, they are crap. They started this 14-day thing with awesomeness (Deep Silver re-Bunble), and then they offered mostly shit. Only maybe two-three bundles were acceptable so far.

I don't find that they are a letdown in the strictest sense, but none of them particularly interest me. I'm kinda hoping for a Shadowrun Returns bundle with Dragonfall BTA [Shadowrun Returns I have, but I'd be willing to make a GA with that, regardless of whether or not I get any more contribution; it's a good game], but I'm not holding my breath.

That said, I AM somewhat regretful in that I missed out on one bundle because I couldn't make up my mind. Oh well. There's still one or two X3: Terran Conflict giveaways out there.

I'm just hoping for the THQ bundle to come back. I missed the Deep Silver and THQ bundles on their original times. I bought each of the Deep Silver games since, and the Re-Bundle, but would love a second shot at getting the THQ one as well. Hopefully it's one of the last few!

I know... But others bought up the rights to their games, so I'm hoping for the re-bundle :)

Too bad, too. THQ made great games D:

i noticed this also. i bought nearly every single humble bundle from 7 or 8 (didn't know what it was before then, and wasn't willing to take a look), and now it has been pretty cheap quality speaking for a while. games aren't really interresting, or bad, or in greenlight/alpha state, and prices tend to increase drastically

My issue is that not all of them are even bundles. One game is definitely not a bundle.

Most of the offerings look more like "buy this thing, get these other things as bonus". I don't mind the idea, and some of the offers were pretty decent. I do think doing this every day for 2 weeks straight is a bit much though.

Some games are really not that bad, but they are a bit pricy, i mean only certain games required ovet 6 USD to get the top tier games, but since the success of starbound and the sid meier bundles, they are including it more often. Dont get me wrong, im not against that, if i can pay a lil bit more i will, no probs, but i was paying 15 usd to get quite some games with a shit ton of dlcs and stuff. 15 bucks for 3 games from which i just want to pay 1? thanks, but no thanks.

What on earth were any of you expecting from a 2 week long string of daily bundles? Did you expect them to pull magic AAA games out of their ass for $1 averages as far as the eye can see? They have 2 week deals that are composed of iPod games, they were never going to get gold for this experiment.

Why do it then? Make 7 bundles that last two days or something.

HB is trying out different things right now, they just added the Book bundles as well. We're basically getting 14 different small bundles in place of one random bundle. I only bought Race the Sun so far, but I'm still looking forward to see what's next.

I was hoping for mostly rebundles tbh. I pretty much like at least one game from each day, but I started this late and want to run the first few laps.

I had actually some hope for it, as it first looked like a "14 days of repeats" thing. Hell, I was secretly hoping for a few rather early bundles to repeat, but ehhh. As much as I love them and all, the majority of these are not bundles at all (Banner saga was a joke; make it a direct discount and I'm fine with it, even the price), and the rest are like "Oh look! X games in a bundle, and you own everything besides that one title you might have been interested in!". Again, not minding forking out 10 bucks or more for games (hell, just bought Transistor and no regrets), but they will leave me with a hoard of already owned games which is too much a pain to even give away, wether to friends or here in general, and not even mentioning trading. I haven't updated my Steamtrades thread with new extra games for over 3 months now. It's that much of a pain.

This whole bundle situation made me have bad predictions about half a year ago, but apparently someone already posted the blog post of the head of Spiderweb Software (sorry if I didn't remember that right, I mean the Avernum creators), so now it catches up with more and more people. We are way past the saturation point here, and I find myself not even buying wishlisted stuff at 80% off because I still have a ton of other stuff to play, and I wouldn't have time for those, so might as well not buy them.

I hate to say it, but I find myself showing my back to the indie scene for now, and only caring about stuff that gets raving reviews or that I am actually anticipating for some reason (i.e. Transistor, Hotline 2, Treasure Adventure World). I hoarded up way too many games, and I feel bad about it, especially since some really good games got devalued even before their launch (Knytt underground in all $1 tiers?), and I was part of the large group making this into something popular by buying them. I'd rather have individual games now at a discount or even full price, where I know that their devs don't get only 5 cents after my buck.

I think I'll just go back to my PS2. Not that anything could top that experience with a couple of games there.

I can definitely see that. I think these massive influx of bundles are hurting indie games. I've seen people say with a straight face that a brand new indie game is only worth about 20 cents. It hurts the overall quality of indie gaming because so much shit, and just average games are bypassing Greenlight by bundling straight away. I'm really excited for Transistor, Isaac Rebirth, Mewgenics, and Hotline 2, but other than that there's just nothing on my radar. What's really sad is that these games are made for months or years by a single person or small group, but no one seems to care anymore. That's what made it hard to find good independent films as well, so we're basically just stuck with Hollywood in theaters.

I think probably only the first and the last will be good bundles, the rest will just keep being this things than they dare to call bundles...

I have had high hopes for the current and last weekly ... did not buy any of those.

I am not very pleased with the daily's did not buy a single daily bundle.

Does 1 game make a bundle ?

the only decent bundle was last weekend's Re-Bundle. Honestly i don't mind if they give rebundles if the new ones are just going to be crap.

Perhaps its some kind of psychological test to determine the proportion of buyers who are in it for the games or for the charitable cause. Maybe.

Most of Humble's daily bundles haven't seemed that good to me. The re-bundles were good, but I bought them the first time around. The new stuff ... not that great. This does seem to be some kind of experiment on Humble's part, but it's not obvious (to me, at least) what they're trying to learn from it.
