Congrats with the gold medal for Hanna Oeberg, winning the individual 15 km biathlon. :-)

Yes, they reported here on TV1 National Belgian News that this medal for Sweden was totally unexpected.
But it's a gold medal and a nice sports performance.

Sorry to hear that, watching biathlon is fun but congrats with another gold medal for Sweden! This time it's Frida Hansdotter in the alpine skiing\slalom. :-)

In any case a nice surprise and good for her morale.

Massive Olympic Train. Very nice. Thanks a lot.
Bump.
(I skipped all the VR titles since I don't have the gear... pointless to win a game you can't use, I hope others will consider that too, give more chance to those VR geeks ;-) )

Good job on making such a long train filled with facts and what not.

Czech Republic winning gold for the first time in Nagano 1998 for Ice Hockey. Team mixed from strange group of players but they were working for each other. These are short highlights of the campaign. Just look at the joy of the goalkeeper at the end.

She competes in snowboarding, she took super-G just out of interest and was ranked 43rd in the world before olympics.
Well she got gold :D oh your god

Bump for Sweden winning curling against GBR. I'm still confused though what happened with their last stone. I could even hear the swedish team talking about it being confused. Seemed like they didn't even know the rules regarding it, which I found very weird. How can you not know all the rules in a sport you're competing in the olympics in? :O
Clearly the GBR team let go of the stone ahead of the line, but from the camera angles shown it was hard to see if it might have been a doubl touch. Really strange that there aren't cameras covering that line better as well for the judges to look at.

Thanks to everyone that took part and added to my event, but the competition is not over yet. We still have to decide on who goes home with a gold medal. I picked a champion from each nation that participated, and then looked at their wishlists. The top most wanted game was also a game none of athletes had yet, so the choice was easy. To find out what they are competing for, check the bottom of the post.
Winner: Portugal!
That concludes this years events. Just trying to sort one key out that IG had messed up (if anyone has a spare key for Pixel Arcade that they want to trade for let me know), and waiting for one winner to log back on, but otherwise everything seems to be in order.
