Once again I´m back to bring bad news. He was/is a great musician in my opinion. Oh my ... I´m a bit shocked. All the heroes of my youth are going the predetermined way now. Yesterday while baking x-mas cookies I´d listen this without a clue of his disease.
Bye Greg!

Aw, that makes me sad. I'm a big fan of both ELP and King Crimson, and I have copies of almost anything he/they ever did. Lots of stuff on vinyl, even some 8 tracks..

I was lucky to see them about 15 years ago, doing a Chicago stop on a double bill tour with Jethro Tull. Yeah, of course they were older, but both bands still played tight and sounded great...killer concert. ELP played the full 20+ minute Tarkus saga live during their set, plus plenty of other hits. It was pretty bad ass. I still have the tour shirt.

Rest in peace, Lake.
