I'm not at all familiar with Cooler Master's new OEM supplier (Enhance), but the couple of reviews I've read give that PSU a high rating. So that's what I'd do - read a bunch of reviews.

Never had to deal with Cooler-Master's RMA service, either, so I can't help you there.

Really tough to comment on single PSU other than read reviews. You might check out this guys site
http://www.jonnyguru.com/

He tears apart and tests power supplies and stress-tests components. He may have looked at that one, but I'm sure there's a similar one you can find that has tested well.

hell no. cooler master is no junk but at the same time it's not great.

it seems the GX 650W have been around since 2011 so it will be some years old. plus it was sold at around 65€ when brand new.
50$ for that old thing is far from a good deal.

Just a heads up, if I remember correctly there was at least two versions of that psu, the first rev was terrible.

Depending on the revision you get, the PSU is OK, but the price is too high. Here's the thing, though: it's a used PSU. They don't last forever, and depending upon the use it's already seen, you may only get one or two years out of it before you're replacing it with a new one. Still think it's worth the price? I don't. You talk about a 2-year warranty on it, but do you really want to go through the hassle of replacing it?

You're better off saving your money up for a new PSU and waiting for a sale. Find one with very good reviews and wait for a discount of 25% or more. In fact, you could probably buy a brand new PSU of high quality for the same amount of money. Try NewEgg (www.newegg.com) to check the current market for PSU's.

P.S.(Now, there's an idea.... Get one of your friends from SG to buy the PSU for you and ship it to you by mail. You pay the costs, but it may still be cheaper for you to do it that way.)

What do you need 650Watts for?
Edit: Some PSUs die just after the warranty expires ;)
Will he give you any kind of warranty or guarantee?
