Heyo,

I've just made a small Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey script for myself I thought I'd share in case anyone else wants to use it.

The script will add a sgtools.info link next to each winner's 'Request New Winner' link in your giveaway's winners list, so that you can easily check them for non-activated and multiple wins (see screenshot).

If clicked, it will open two tabs with the following urls:

http://www.sgtools.info/nonactivated/<username>
http://www.sgtools.info/multiple/<username>

Depending on your browser settings, you may need to allow steamgifts.com to open pop-ups in order for both tabs to open.

Installation: https://greasyfork.org/scripts/19834-hg-steamgifts-sgtools/code/hg_steamgifts_sgtools.user.js

If your pop-up blocker prevents the script from opening both tabs, edit the script's source and change the value in line 12 from true to false

Nice idea, a shame that it's not enough for me, though.

Not that it's any of my business, but I'm curious what you mean by that.

What did you have in mind?

Didn't really mean that in a bad way, but, additionally to the sgtools checks, i'll check the winners steam library to see if the game isn't in there already (which can happen and even did once).
As i need to go to the winners profile to get the steam link, and i'm already using the script that adds these sgtools links on the profile page of the winner, this script adds nothing that would really make a difference for me.

I usually trust steamgifts to prevent people from entering GAs for games they allready own. Of course it can happen when their last sync has been days before, but unless I'm giving away a really valuable game I dont care to check. Loading large libraries makes my browser freeze for like 1-2 minutes, thats too bothersome :)

I'm checking it just to be sure, especially if the game was in an active bundle, since the winner could have decided to buy it himself between entering and end and forget to leave the giveaway.
I can understand that it's too bothersome if it takes a while to load, if i wouldn't check the library then i would have done a script like this for myself, too^^

Oh this is a nice idea but it maybe hard to implement as checking user library needs steam API key which can't be shared publicly inside a userscript (CMIIW)

Handy. Thanks! Tried it out, and it only seems to open the nonactivated link for me.

Guess that's the pop-up blocker. I'll look what I can do about that tomorrow.

I allowed sg to open pop-ups but still only opens one tab..

I've just made a new version. If you re-install the script and switch the value in line 12 from true to false, you will have two links instead of just the one

I'm kinda stupid. How do you add this with pastebin?

Just create a blank script in Grease-/Tampermonkey and paste the code.

But I just uploaded the script aswell, it's easier: http://s522819788.online.de/hage/hg_steamgifts.user.js

why only nonactivated? how about multiple wins?
please add it as link instead of another tab, chrome popup blocker blocks second link

it should open both nonactivated and multiple wins in separate tabs. If it only opens nonactivated your pop up blocker might me the reason. I'll have to find a way to bypass that

Strange. This one is installed on all 4 PCs I use, so I thought I got the link from that registry thread. Apparently not. o.0

It works for me on Firefox, but I just tried it with Chrome and got the same behaviour as you did. Don't really have a clue why that happens though. If I can figure it out I'll reply to your message again to let you know

Okay I found the cause of the problem and rewrote parts of the script to fix it. Thanks for pointing that out
