Aye. The easiest way to find the winner seems to be by going to cg's account. I usually just click on his name in the forums, but I was feeling helpful and so I linked it. Just look at his active giveaways.

:O so voting is a GA itself?

Does this means that after voting someone will be pick randomly from the poll?

A giveaway is created with the most voted game, under cg's account.

But you have to look for it on the whole bunch of GA's?

The winner game should be published on the TOP of the GA's with the multiple copies GA so everyone can see it.

That's why I said just go to cg's account and look at his active giveaways. That day's Community winner will be one of his most recent giveaways. And I even included a link to his account.

No, the vote is to decide what game will be given away. After the voting ends, the ga is created and you can enter it.

do you mean CG is not the only one who can host THAT poll winner?

As it stands right now, CG is the user who does the Community Voted GAs. The best way to find it, just click cg's profile and find it, it has a special icon next to it.

I agree though, the GA should have a special place on the front page, such as where the Developer Giveways are posted or down with the Community Voted Poll.

I also added a more "complex" solution to this an it's to add in the browse side bar the "WHITELIST" category so we can look for GA from specific users.

if you want to support it:

There are a few discussions for it. Fun fact, something I just found out yesterday, Whitelist giveaways are listed under group giveaways.

I discovered that today when I saw a sweet giveaway. Apparently, I've made someone's whitelist!

you mean that GROUP AND WHITELIST are listed together?

Whitelists are considered "groups". All other groups are on Steam and imported here, while Whitelists are a group on Steamgifts. So, if you're on someone's Whitelist, and they do a Whitelist giveaway, it'll show up under "Groups".

The concept seems to be to complex for my small brain. Anyways I repeat it's not clear the conecpt of the whitelist mixed with in the "group" section.

I understand this is a serious necro of the thread, but this one is the most related. On FAQ there is a point:

What are 'Community Voted' giveaways?
We regularly have a 24 hour poll on our homepage asking users to vote for an extra giveaway. When the poll ends, the game with the highest number of votes is automatically given away by our site. These giveaways have a thumbs up icon to help identify them in the list, and remain open for 24 hours.

I've never seen any polls or thumbs up on homepage. Where are they?

Thank you - at least I know how the polls looks like, I don't see the thumbs up icon giveaway on that screenshot, but that is not important. The important part is, you said "looked", what happen to them? And if they are no longer running why are they in FAQ?

Here you can see the thumbs up icon:

And on the giveaways themselves as well: http://www.steamgifts.com/giveaway/lJZXu/company-of-heroes-2

Thank you very much. Anyone knows what happened to them? And why they are still in FAQ?

I know there were some after I joined, so around a half year+ ago.
The odds were pretty terrible on them as I recall. :X

Well, every giveaway on this site is people giving out games voluntarily to be kind. :)
And cg (who's the admin of this site) got more important stuff to do than to just make giveaways. From what I see the latest community voted giveaway was 5 months ago. I don't necessarily think it's all over, but comes back here and there. :)

Welcome to the site btw! ^-^

Wow. I haven't got idea this site is one man work (I understand there are some moderators, but still). Thank you for greeting, and best wishes to you as well.
