Dokimon: Quest (5 Keys Giveaway a week for 3 weeks)

I got in contact with the developer of Dokimon: Quest and got my hands on a few keys to give away for promotional purposes on SteamGifts.

The keys will be distributed through 3 separate giveaways, 1 giveaway per week, and each giveaway containing 5 keys.

Dokimon:Quest is a 2nd gen Pokemon-inspired game (think Pokemon gold, silver, and crystal), it has the same visual style as those games.
It differs from the gen 2 Pokemon games in that Dokimon:Quest has a lot more going on with the game mechanics, quality-of-life features, and the story being darker than what a person would experience in a conventional Pokemon game. Being a monster taming game it also has a lot of unique and cool monster designs to find and look out for throughout the game.

It really hits that demographic yeh haha.

In my experience it plays better than those older games, I tried replaying Pokemon Crystal a year or two ago and I got bored with the slow combat and exploration after an hour or so.

Just to mention, but you put the game link also as the giveaway link. I'm guessing it was meant to be for the steam page instead?

Gen 2 is the only Pokémon Gen that I've yet to beat a game within it.

If you can somehow get SoulSilver or HeartGold, they really are some of the best Pokemon games.
DS graphics, following Pokemon, and you play through both the gen2 and gen1 area and gyms (sale for the original gen2 version).

I've actually never played HGSS or ORAS, but have watched speedrunners such as Werster play them. The furthest I could make it in GSC was after beating Whitney, at which point I never figure out where to go on my own.

The first three games was quite all over the place with progression, with random backtracking you wouldn't guess to do unless you were actively paying attention to all the dialogue.
