Personally, I would never risk my life to prevent a bank robbery. Banks have assurance, they do not lose anything. But your life can be easily taken from you and there will be no other.
Helping to prevent a crime against a small business or other cause is different and a thing I consider worthy of losing one's unique life.

Trying to stop a bank robbery is pretty fucking stupid if you've got anything in your life worth caring about or anyone who loves you

While everyone familiar with this article is talking about how heroic this man's actions were during an armed bank robbery, not many people appreciate the empowerment those two brave girls felt when they survived it. Imagine the horror when that oppressive robber walked in and the bravery it took for both of them to bolt out of the bank while the other man tackled the robber with his bare hands. You go girls!
Comment #MeToo if you've ever been scared for your life and did absolutely nothing to help save it.
