Is Secret World any good?

So yeah, as the title is saying.

I'm curious since I look for a new game to sink some time in.

It's the best MMO I've ever played, sucks you in with atmosphere and story. The community is very mature, organized and helpful. The only turn off may be that many instance bosses can one shot kill you and combat in general is tough and requires a lot of mobility. Overall, it's very much worth it, as long as you're willing to put your mind into it.

And it'll be updating itself for a while after it downloads, hahah. I guess it wouldn't look as good, if it weighed less.

+1. Big community, a rich story, interesting quests... It's a great game if you're going to spend some (a lot of) time playing it.

Was wondering the same thing, looks damn awesome but it looks like it almost never gets updated. There is a gap of 6 months between the second to last and the last update which was in february.

The first rule of Secret World is, you do not talk about Secret World.

Seriously, I didn't play, but I heard a lot of good things about it, that it is a "investigative" MMORPG, where there are "vague" objectives and you must find your way through them, so it might depend on your taste of games.
