You can wait a very very long time for a booster pack to drop into your account. The higher your Steam account level the higher the chances.

Other than that, no you need to buy or trade for them.

You can also craft them by spending gems to craft boosters of a game you own.

You get gems by "recycling" community items such as cards, profile wallpapers and emotes, though it's usually not worth it.

No easy way mate but if you want to check set prices, etc STC is great

I usually just wait for a booster pack to drop... And only craft them for games I really love, sell the rest.

Trading bots are actually quiet useful if you have enough cards but duplicates.
