Red Faction II (Running problems??)

Hello everyone.

Did anyone bought Red Faction II? Whoever has, can you run it on your system?

I heard that the game won't run on the recent computers so i was a bit worried and that's why i didn't buy it yesterday when it was on sale. It sucks that you wanna have the whole Red Faction franchise and can't do it because of the second game... It's stupid, cause the first one apparently has no problems at all, but the second has, wtf.

Me, I'm lucky, have the first two games on PS2, so no running problems.

Btw, I don't remember which one worked. There are exe patchers, but they don't work on Steam. I guess I simply found a non-steam rf2.exe file and patched it (or so). Anyway, I managed to run it. /win8

I have Windows 7 and I had to do the same thing, I played it a few months ago though so I too forget exactly which fix I used

I didn't buy it for the same reason. The only one I don't have from the series, but I just can't justify putting money on it.
