I think that if you check my profile/library you'll see that I love metroidvania games and I'd definitely play this one as well.

The game has been in my whitelist for some time, and every time I start a game I play with all my energy till I finish it. I always finish the games with story, and also, I only make one walkthrough, so I make an effort to enjoy it.

I'm definitely not going to play this within a month. We're moving in a week, and then we're going to MN for a wedding - a 2-week trip.
I had this game on my wishlist for a long time, but I took it off recently along with 100 other games, because I know it will be a long time before I get to them, and they will be dirt cheap by then.

Congratz on cake day!! Now that is what i call a surprise - the SG gods works in misterious ways but this time they didn't.
It is clear as day they wanted to make you happy on this day :)
Id love to join. Just recently i got into Blaeo and Playing Appreciated and now im not only motivated to attack my backlog im in the mood of going through wins and finishing games- something ive left aside for quite awhile; I had little play time awhile ago and forgot how much i enjoyed beating games.
...And im all about metroidvanias, my favorite genre alongside RPGs- but as of late definetly surpassed as my top one, some added nostalgia sickness for platformers going on top. I love the exploration at my pace, the action, platforming- but the more puzzles and exploration throw in the better.
Added to that i have a particular love for underwater themed games (actually for underwater themed anything; Im a fan of Jacques Cousteau, the Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is my most loved film and, no surprise there, being a vernian fan 20000 leagues is my favorite right beside 5 weeks in a balloon). (that became one big parenthesis)
I plan on getting my underwater fill with this sale if the cuts help it - Diluvion, Song of the Deep and We Need to Go Deeper top and foremost, plus some im still missing like underwater adventure, anoxemia and... Aquaria... A game i bought on release from some dead retailer years ago, beaten, loved it but couldn't get key for steam and refused to buy again ever since but damn, do i want to beat it again. Also looking foward to Narcosis but horror gets lower on my priorities- plus theres a bunch of other goodies ahead (Shovel and Hollow Knight this sale, hopefully).
Talking about Song of the Deep, if you like challenging metroidvanias you will probably love The Aquactic Adventures of the Last Human. But damn, is it hard.
Also Dead Cells if more action is to your taste, the best surprise i had this year.

Thanks a lot! Just keep in mind its that kind of game that will take you long because of tries. Its hard from the start and thumb hurting near the end- and i still have to beat it. But its setting and vibe is stellar and the exploration even frightening- it isn't like most metroidvanias where you open access to 1-2 areas at once... after the first boss you're dumped across 3 huge areas with no guidance. Really adds to the feeling.

I've had a birthday a week ago and I've won one of my top wanted games that day - Starbound \I^v^I/ It is my cake day today and I've won Fallout 4 yesterday! \I^v^I/ SG gods have to really like me lately.
Since I was so lucky I've decided to create some nice GA for you. The game I'm giving away is Song of the Deep and to get access to it you have to convince me you will play it within a month or two. Then I'll temporarily whitelist you. The winner who will keep the promise will be most likely added to my whitelist permanently (unless they'll turn out to be not a nice person) - just let me know you've finished it or given a good try.
