Hmm... All I see are squares. I think this is because I am using Windows XP and it can't display the text. I'll try and remember to check it the next time I have the horrible Vista laptop running.

Thanks. I tried doing an image search for each individual character to see if I could get a picture of what it looks like and I did for most of them, but the majority of pictures were manga of naked girls, lol.

+1 I was pleasantly intrigued by the concept, which I immediately got apparently before any hints, but despite understanding the concept and trying a bunch of combinations that seemed feasible, I'm still left with nothing more than an appreciation for it being something different. :P

Has anyone solved this yet? There seems to be some conflicting hints.
Hint 1 says: Just symbols, not Japanese. But Hint 6 says symbol 4 is a number and if it's what I think it is wouldn't that contradict Hint 1?
I have a feeling symbol 1 and 3 don't look anything like whatever it's supposed to be.
Sigh I give up.
