Worked with my visa debit card, so I don't see a reason it wouldn't work with a credit card.

It gives you a key to download it. Follow the link in the confirmation e-mail they'll send you and the game will appear there (it may take a minute after purchase). Click "view key" or whatever it is and activate it on Steam. Voila.
