How do i know? I mean i know a lot of stuff i want to buy but half or more of it i won't because no way they're gonna discount as much as i want/need.

Ive already bought Wartile that is currently on sale and waiting for summer sale to start- if it goes lower i will refund. On the same vein is For the King- another ea fantasy turn based with rpg elements... im a sucker for those. But wartile touched my inner tabletop nerd hard.

Astroneer, hopefully.
Shovel Knight at last, this one will probably be a sure-deal.
I also have hopes Evil Within will go low again or better.

Everything else on the top of my list is hard to know, even more so the newer high budget titles. Wait and see i guess.

Vincer you have the same problem as me. We both have nearly or over 2000 titles in our wishlist. Every sale is a belssing for our wishlist :D

Someone who gets it!!

I kinda feel envy of those with small wishlists but i often forget its the opposite. - it only means theres too many good stuff out there. Im still cleaning up mine but by the looks of it i can/will remove 200 tops of titles i wishlisted more as a 'check later'; The rest i simply can't... so theres only one way to remove then...

Gotta catch then all!

Im the guy who liked those mini-games and cartdriges with '1001 games!' and actually played most of then.

Its strange that i love storydense singleplayer games (and long ones like rpgs) but i freaking love a arcade feel - one machine now, okay time to go the next one... I even wish i could put some short-level games on some kind of playlist and shuffle then every 1-3 lvls.

Hahahha that would be nice :D

I love the varity of games and the options for all kind of genres. The good thing is, we will never be bored and i never heard myself saying, im out of games :D

You'd have been best getting Shovel Knight before they released Treasure Trove as the base price almost doubled then.

YEAH that one. Its part of my change in behaviour 'less waiting for bundle'.
Its hit and miss. Just recently i bought Headlander and next week... monthly. At least it was a steal in BRL price.

But i would want it with the new dlc that would have been priced anyway and since its not an actual new release my hopes are for generous cuts

Comment has been collapsed.

If you bought it before Treasure Trove you got all the upgrades free - that's the reasoning behind the price increase. Treasure Trove includes everything as it's released. There is no DLC now, you either buy Treasure Trove and get everything or you buy the individual campaigns as stand alone games.

I think Dragons Dogma (haven't been able to get humble bundle), Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 or Styx: Shards of Darkness.
If Dragons Dogma goes on sale for a price I can afford I'll 110% buy that though :D Looks amazing!

What about you?

Comment has been collapsed.

I really quite want Dragons Dogma, and it was on sale recently for like £9, so it's not a super top tier game, right?

I've bombed around Barter.vg trying to get a swap for it on the go, and I've been offering some actual good stuff for it ( like Guts & Glory, Ryse, Vermintide, Brigador ) but no one is up for trading.

If it drops to around £5, I'm gonna snap it up! And it'll likely just sit there, never getting installed, and then in a few months time, will be given away for free. ¬_¬

I doubt you'll have much luck with Ryse as its frequently 75% off on IG/BS which matches it's Steam sale discount. There's not much incentive to trade for something that you is going to be that price if not cheaper within months at most.

Totally worth it. The game have its flaws, it does feel like a empty mmo in some places...
But damn is the combate great and its so addictive!

ONE save slot and no way to save during the intro before character creation, that's the flaw that kinda spoilt the game for me. There's a save manger mod that makes it somewhat playable again, but it's very sad that I need a mod for basic stuff like that.

You can save before character creation and you don't need a mod. Make your save and then back it up.

Permalink

If we're talking about the same game, the save option only becomes available after the intro and character creation is part of the intro. You can backup your save before pawn creation, but not before the main character. Also it's very inconvenient to back up manually every time the game triggers autosave, that's where the save manager mod comes in handy. Still, if that game had a proper save management instead of that console-style nonsense with only one official save slot, you wouldn't need any mod or backup.

You can save before picking a class for sure as this is what I did on both the PC and 360 versions. As for teh actual character creation you can buy an item to edit your character once you reach the encampment.

So run through the intro, save before picking your class, backup your save then if you want to start again you just have to run 30 secs to the encampment.

Now, that's the problem: buy and once you reach the encampment. I don't want to buy an item or wait until I reach the encampment when I missed some detail during character creation, just because the game doesn't have a proper save management. The game offers so many character customization options, imho, it's just plain stupid that it forces me to go through the intro several times when I just want to experiment with those options.

There is a demo you can play on Steam. I think its the first level but gives a decent idea of what to expect and I really enjoyed playing that :D

I'm pretty sure that whatever I do buy, will be guarenteed to be in the next Humble Monthly.

And anything I put off, pre-empting a Monthly inclusion ( such as Darkest Dungeon ) of course will not be in the bundle. ¬_¬

Ive been thinking the same. Most of what i want to buy will probably be in the next 1-3 HB monthly.

But i don't mind anymore. I made my peace with it- Monthly would have to bee pretty freaking good to great every month for a year to bring me all i want. Won't happen. Ive wasted time waiting for games i wanted to be bundled because they were good candidates to no avail.

Whatever gets bundled either i get a good repeat to GA or trade or i save on a bundle. From my experience i can pretty much save upon half or more Monthlys and hopefully get all i want from then nonetheless- from GAs to trading so...

Gonna get some DLC I'm missing-- Dishonored, Don't Starve, LISA, Sunless Sea-- and Mass Effect 2. Anything else will be based on how good a deal it is and if I can feasibly expect to manage getting it installed on my horrible connection before the Winter Sale hits.

I've got some DLC on my radar for games I quite like, like The Black Watchmen & Stellaris.

Other than that, I'm looking for The Quest, Dungeon Rats, the Mega Man Legacy collection, The Disney Afternoon collection (though it's new, so I doubt it will go on a good sale), Sanctus Reach, Obduction, Pike & Shot, Armello, House of the Dying Sun, Bloodlust Shadowhunter, Dungeon kingdom, Battlefleet Gothic, Final Fantasy IX & X, Cossacks 3, Axiom Verge, The Sea will Claim Everything, Man O' War, UnReal World, Graviteam tactics: Mius-Font, Commander: The Great War, Space Wolf, The Great Whale Road, I am Setsuna, Cradle, StarCrawlers and I think that's about it. I'll of course not buy all, or even most of these, but they are games I'll keep an eye out for.

I've, since I was in my early-mid teens, been a big fan of the World of Darkness setting (helps that I had a great GM running Vampire back then), and Bloodlust looks like a successful attempt at creating something in that general vein, in terms of setting, and I'm always up for a good, well thought out dungeon crawler.

Avoid opening the steam store at all. I talk from experience - sales where i couldnt buy #@$. Was the only reason i didn't- because i had no way.
So if you can but 'won't'... don't look at the store page. Don't let the devil tempt you

Depends on the sales! I actually just used the 20 for 15 paypal thing mentioned in another thread and bought the hitman complete season which is at 66% discount right now, and this war of mine which is at 80% - so if I get anything else it will be because it had an awesome sale price.

Not sure I'll get anything, really. There are a couple of games I want, but unless they hit 75%, which I doubt, I'll stay away. I've already bought a lot of games during the GOG sale recently, so I'm good for a bit.

I'd like to grab a cheap Wings of Vi, though not sure if I can hope to see it at, let's say 66% at least, and a few bundles of shmups would be lovely, other than that, I don't plan on buying much, got games for a lifetime already

I'm not sure.. I've done my best to clear my wishlist of everything but DLC for the games I own, as I figure I should finish playing those.. I'll still take a peek at the store pages for RPGs and Visual Novels though, to see if there's anything super cheap :)
