After not having set foot on Italian soil for almost 7 years, I have now had a long vacation in a rural area in Tuscany with no internet and hardly any mobile coverage.
There, I was cooked under a 40°C sun, and then eaten by the most ravenous mosquitoes I have ever seen.

In the next months I'll have to travel to the Netherlands and then Spain, this time for business, but still I don't particularly enjoy travelling. The queues at the airports, the delays, the missed connections... Oh, well, I will survive.

But hey, I'm home now so let's celebrate with a few crappy giveaways :D

I'd rather wait for a bus under the rain than under a scorching sun! XD

I used to live in Bologna for a few years ages ago, and even there my connection was utter rubbish, and expensive.

In fact, we had some great food and that ice cream was so good under the scorching sun. I suppose that makes up for it :)

Here in Norway we have a saying that goes something like "(being) away is good, but home is best."
Thanks for the GAs! :)

Thanks! I must say it would have been a lot more energising if the mosquitoes didn't keep me awake at night XD
Luckily I don't have to go straight back to work!
