Unfortunately, this kind of pain is part of our lives. It will never go away, but we can learn to bear it and live with it.
Stay strong and concentrate on your future. If you have your own family already, take care of them...if not, just focus on what is important for you right now. Career, finding love, etc...

Thank you for sharing your feelings and for the GA <3

I know that pain. It's hard to handle sometimes, but it gets easier over time. Just keep alive the good memories of her, what she meant to you, what she did for you, and especially, what she would like for you to do with your life. All those feelings and memories, it's what it will keep her alive, close to you, and for you to look forward... that's what it works for me. Over 10 years later, I still remember my mother every day. I missed her terribly, but I know she's in a better place... as your mother is too.

Take care.

I lost my mother as well. Before losing her i was seeing dreams where something bad happens to her i was waking up terrified realizing it was a just dream going hugging her feeling relieved then one day it nightmare become real. Of course time goes on you have to keep going and survive but i was never the same person since... years passed still when i see something or remember her it breaks my heart. Just appreciate things or people while you still have them.

my condolences to you too! That's well written, i can't imagine the pain and grief losing my mother, but when i read something like this, i can imagine it.

And apart from appreciating when people are still there, you can remember them after they pass and think of all the beautiful things they were and you did together. It's painful but in these sense they are still there and will be all the time, no matter how much time passes.

Keep your head up!

My condolences and remember her:

as
a great mother
a great woman
a great teacher (for you)
and many more.

It's been one year? This pain will stay livelong, i can't imagine loosing my mother and i cherish every day she is still here.

Hope you are doing better than one year before, because there you wrote that you are afraid to sleep and taking sedatives every night - please don't or get help if you can.

A year can feel like forever after you lost a loved one. I hope you are learning to live with the loss. Your Mom would want you to.
