Is nuuvem's Mortal Kombat X region locked?

Hi m8y's I want to buy Mortal Kombat X, do you know if nuuvem's Mortal Kombat X is region locked?

The store page doesn't have a warning but considering it's a pre-order game and it isn't available for purchasing in some regions I'd like to confirm.

I checked it, doesn't says anything about region lock, but since its pre order Im not sure.

They usually get that info earlier, so it won't happen like it did with Saints Row IV.. International Buyers and SR IV BR was supposed to be locked.

If it's region locked, Nuuvem has to and always does write out that it's region locked. After that only Steam can lock the key retroactively, but they never did that with already activated keys/gifts. Anyway, buy it and if it doesn't work, ask for a refund. It's most probably ROW if they don't say it otherwise (look at RE Revelations 2 it is locked to S America, and it's clearly stated).

But he will not get key until release :) So there's no point to buy it now, because it might get locked till release.

Wrong. Steam DID retroactively blocked various already activated keys/gifts - some, like Aliens: Colonial Marine received locks at the release moment.
Like rule said before whole-steam-store crossregion trading lock: if game has different SubIDs between regions it's never safe to buy pre-order until game is released.

So, back to MKX: it doesn't have region locks yet, but since they are not issuing keys yet there's no reason to create region-locked keys at this moment. Best tactic: wait at least until April, then check what is going on.

Since it's pre-order it can change even at last day. But there's little hope in fact that other Warner Bros. games don't have region locking. But their newest game - Shadow of Mordor - has regional tag, so it's hard to say if they won't do another step.

I think I'll buy it now and if it's region locked I'll just ask for a refund considering there's no warning in the store page.

I think you're right that's what I'll probably do. Mortal Kombat X isn't a top seller @ nuuvem right now so I think they won't run out of keys anytime soon
