Currently running at around 70 mods, quite stable with the seldom (around 1/3hours) CTDs. Loot and NXM work quite well. Perkus Maximus makes the game feel new again. Got the DLC during the sale (the mod scandal) so I've got enough time to wait for the Witcher 3: Director's Cut ;)

Trailers don't represent gameplay, and most certainly not those released 2 years before the game release. Either way, wait till the game is out.

Why would any developer want to create a game that looks the same on PC and consoles?! IMHO it's absurd and it's actually insulting for us. Most of us have been waiting for an amazing game for 2015, both story-wise and graphically-wise. While the story may be excellent, the graphics are from 2012. And that's not acceptable in 2015.
Look at the difference between PC GTA V and console GTA V and you'll understand that as a developer, releasing "in-game trailers" that prove to be fake is a big no no.

why would bethesda release that utterly crappy UI for PC skyrim just to make console players able to navigate the menu with a controller? It's years that everything is always like that.
I'm part of the people who doesn't mind to wait months to get to play on a game on PC (if it's a port) but REQUIRES it to be developed thinking about PCs capabilities, on everything (controls included). All AAA titles port from consoles are just "ported" with no coding effort to make them REAL PC games, I hate that.

The graphics are still cool, and I'm going to play the game because of the story, so I don't really care. But still, it would be nice to play the game as I saw it in the trailers, it would be a waste having a GTX 970 if that's not possible.

Well, still looks alright. Even in the first gameplay trailers, with old "better" graphics you could see that it's running 30 fps at it's best and if CDProject Red downgraded for better performance .. well I can live with that. Also people had no problems with the newer gameplays and reviews until this "proof" came out.

People should learn that even if it's in-game footage, a trailer is there to hype you up for the release. It will be super polished*, mega nice, uber shiny, etc... They are a company, and companies are made to get that monie flowing, to make profit of the product you are selling. This is a marketing strategy, and as it was proven successful in the past, it is still in use.

Oh well, I just wanted to do my part as Geralt's sidekick. Witcher 2 graphics looks like the game was made this year. That is amazing. Remember people, THEY ARE INDIE DEVS. Or were, Don't really know how this works since they are releasing one of the most expected games this year.

Well, afaik they started from nothing. People can say, 'so did Ubisoft, Ea, etc' of course they did, every company had to start from nothing. The difference is, CD Projekt Red didn't and will never sell out. RESPECT INDEED! ^^

To correct Bear a little, they are not indie devs. Not anymore, that's for sure. But the difference between them and others is that REDania is still a developer, while most games-making studios turn to shameful companies who start to milk their franchises. Besides CDPR starting from nothing it's also worth mentioning that first two Witchers were developed solely for the polish market and yet they still managed to get exported and achieve so much!
