Will you be grabbing any games?
Does the 20% off code stack with the club units discount?
EDIT: Doesn't look like it.
Why doesnt it look like it when they said it should?
Ubisoft Club members can redeem 100 Units to get 20% off their purchase. The discount will be applied directly in your cart. It can be combined with other discounts. Please note that this specific discount is not valid on new releases (from the past 3 months), on pre-orders and on virtual currency packs.
From the UBIFORWARD terms:
This coupon code is non-cumulative and thus cannot be paired with any other coupon, nor is it compatible with club units promotion
Thanks, saw it later. Weird they didnt mention that restriction under Club Units section instead since its more relevant there :)
So I picked up Far Cry 4 + Season Pass there.
Strangely, it's cheaper buying them separately compared to the Gold Edition equivalent (in Canada) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Nice. I've been eyeing Far Cry 4 also.
decided to cheap out a bit and only get the hurk deluxe pack dlc with my far cry 4
I considered exactly what you describe, but figured I should to play FC 3, FC 5, FC New Dawn, FC Primal, and FC Blood Dragon (all in my libraries) before I pick up another.... LOL.
I started replaying 3 (since I originally finished it years ago on a pirated version), didn't pick up 5/new dawn yet, so 4 is now next on my backlog :)
Haven't even tried blood dragon though (not sure if I ever will), but I'm trying to finish AC: origins.. Currently at about 60%.. bloody huge game
I picked up Origins during the epic sale. It's on my list to play also ;-) So many good games out now, and for a slow player like myself - it can take a long time to get through.
Meh, I would better support Indie developers with my wallet rather that this greedy company.
So far I don't have any exclusives on Uplay and I'd like to keep it that way. Otherwise I might've bought New Dawn.
so far, I don't have Uplay, and I'd like to keep it that way
Nice timing, just when the summer sale is off ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I don't buy that much in this store, but now I completed my Rayman Collection.
still waiting for the greatest of them all Rayman Arena to hit steam. i still play with the disk, but online multiplayer would be nice
I'll keep my fingers crossed that Arena will be released at all.
I don't really like mp games, so I'd skip the game, but I'm happy when all are happy with Rayman games, they are very nice.
Picked up Far Cry New Dawn. Been waiting for 75% off, so the extra 20% made it a no brainer for me.
As usual, out of luck when hoping for sales on only dlcs. The Anno 1800 complete is on sale but dlc 2 is 0% discount, thanks Ubi, nothing like devs taunting early buyers instead of waiting for complete editions on discount. Not going to buy Far Cry New dawn or 5, I've had my fill with 3 and 4.
Got Far Cry 5 during the Epic sale because it came bundled with 3. Its great and I like the companions and vehicles. But it feels tame compared to 3. Yet to go back
I love Watch Dogs 1 because of the anti-protagonist that Aiden Pierce is. Watch Dogs 2 is like a bunch of High School kids rebelling. I didn't really get it.
Thx for a heads-up, bought Far Cry 4 Gold
10 years too late.
I love the "best offers" pane at the top, which displays prices without discount (normal price next to crossed out normal price). I guess no one spent time to test other currencies...
Do you think Far cry 3 deluxe+blood dragon are worth after all these years for the price they ask?
Blood dragon not really since it was free and you still can find Uplay key on keystores for a less. Far Cry 3 is great game and worth a pick up for that price, DLC rather short and not worth price increase in my opinion.
Thank you very much. I will go for blood dragon at smaller price and get far cry 3 deluxe from ubisoft store for 3.60.
Ubi sale is now live at Epic Games Store and it runs until 23.07.! Same prices as Ubi store, but if you have a coupon you can get some titles way cheaper :)
nice. got far cry new dawn Felix for 6€
Far Cry games much cheaper on Steam than previous Steam Summer Sale.
Steam - Far Cry 5 Gold Edition + Far Cry New Dawn Deluxe Edition at 30 euro (36 on summer sale)
Uplay key at gamesplanet for 22.5 GBP or 27 EUR or 29 USD
Steam - Far Cry 3 - Deluxe Edition at 4.49 euro
Thanks. Saw that today too...Entire bundle is $20.87.
Thinking about refunding and buying on Steam instead
Far Cry 5 Gold and the same + New Dawn Deluxe include Far Cry 3 Deluxe.
My next Far Cry game would be Far Cry 4, which by itself is at a great price, but I think I'm gonna hold on and not buy it. I already have too many games to play and I have not been playing enough games to feel worthy enough to get it. Maybe next time there'll be a better deal and I'll have played more games then.
can any of the farcry games be played without uplay logins??
Far Cry 1 and 2 don't need Uplay
GMG is having a Far Cry sale as well, FC4 Gold cheaper than in all other stores for my country
You're right, they're really good prices, only slightly higher than Uplay
Question, but buying on Ubisoft one cannot activate it on Steam, right?
On a side note, in Brazil it seems to be cheaper on Gamersgate. One can get the Far Cry 4 Gold Edition for the price of regular edition on Steam (and regular edition for nearly 1/2 of that). But on Gamersgate it does say "DRM: Uplay", so I'm guessing it cannot be activated on Steam.
"Question, but buying on Ubisoft one cannot activate it on Steam, right?" Answer: Yes.
You won't be getting a better price than R$ 17 for that gold edition anytime soon. I've never used Gamersgate but that price is amazing! Less than half the price of what one can get from Ubisoft without the coins' discount!
Thanks. Yeah, it looks like a pretty great deal.
I've asked their support and no, it cannot be activated on Steam. Unfortunately.
Is the Gold edition really worth it? It's almost twice as expensive as the standard, and more expensive than getting Far Cry 3 and 4 (which sounds like it'd be better cost-benefit).
Unfortunately I can't help you there as I've still not played Far Cry 4.
But with the current pricetag I'll probably just buy Far Cry 3 (a lot of players seem to deem it as the best Far Cry) and possibly Blood Dragon since it looks fun and is dirt cheap right now.
I want to give Far Cry New Down a try, but i have other titles I want to beat before it, so I'll wait with the buy.
Bought Anno 1800 base game with that additional 20% off with the coupon.
If the game is ok, the next time the season pass price goes down I'll use my 100 Units too
I wanted to wait, but i just bought the New Dawn dleuxe edition + Far Cry 5 bundle :D
Seems like the coupon expired well before the end of the sale. I was wondering why it wouldn't work with any of the games, then I noticed on gg.deals that the coupon obviously expired already yesterday. Oh well, I'm not really interested a lot in Ubisoft titles anyway.
Thanks. Sorry about that. Will update
