I completely agree and I was not even interested in this bundle. It is just stupid that its blocked (I did wanted that one Mortal Kombat Arcade one, was of course also blocked in this lovely lovely country as well>.>)
At least Bundlestars always shows in what country its blocked? Certainly is better than finding out afterwards.
Though I don't get why? Is it heavily censored in our country or why.. because I am pretty sure we had some Quake Games out here? ..I think I had Quake II on an old Screenfun CD somewhere.. (I could be wrong, but I am sure if was one of the Quake Games at least? And pretty sure it wasn't the first one)

You're right and that's why I'm totally buying this. I do think on Steam there's a 33%-50% sale each year on QuakeCon but otherwise there's not much of sales going on for the Quake collection. On steam regular price is 30€ for the Quake collection and Quake IV is 20€.
If the price would go lower in upcoming sales then you'll always have the feeling that these Giant Classics in PC gaming were/are totally worth it! :-)

Yeah! As I wrote above Quake Collection alone only had 33% off on steam this summer and it cost 20 €.
Remember back then when I saw it at 75% off I thought to myself that I would buy it next sale (even though I could have bought it from a russian friend back then >.<) , but it only got less discounts ever since lol.

Indeed. Well, I'm not German, but I live in Berlin atm ^^ ... So yeeah.. Plans are that I go to Denmark for Christmas, so I rather wait till then to redeem the keys. Don't want to take any changes, haha.

Quake ist nicht mehr auf dem Index, theoretisch dürften (Online-) Shops die Quake Spiele an deutsche Bürger verkaufen - egal ob Steam oder Bundle Stars. Auflage: Altersprüfung.
Wenn Valve endlich mal eine Altersprüfung implementieren würde, müssten wir uns nicht über geschnittene Versionen oder fehlende Spielen ärgern.

Noch nicht probiert, aber es ist sehr unwahrscheinlich, dass es dann nicht zu spielen geht. Und wenn ein Spiel einen VPN-Lock zum Spielen hat, dann ist dieser nach gängiger Praxis bzw. einigen Berichten nach einiger Zeit weg ... ich habe mehrere Spiele, die nicht gehen sollten, aber trotzdem gehen. Kann gerne Quake 4 die Tage mal für dich testen ;) Die anderen sind zu alt, als dass die sich da wirklich drum kümmern würden ...

Had you asked me a few years back, I would have defended the quake series. But I bought all but Quake 4 (a game that I never liked) a while back and... well, let's just say that Quake is a lot less impressive these days. Quake 1 still has good multiplayer, but the SP campaign was not very fun.
Bought the DOOM at the same time, and despite having no nostalgic ties to it, and it impressed me.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. I think Doom had more "game value" than Quake. Quake really shined with the dev community. I mean, Team Fortress! But yeah, the actual game of quake wasn't really ever great, it was an engine...
