Kickstarter - indie RPG , 5£ for 3 games

Is this made by one of those shitty RPG maker things?

Man I myself made better games using rpg maker... never thought about using them to get money... mmm...

Holy shit the video is 33 minutes, and I couldn't listen to that guy talk for more than 3. Sorry, but I'm out

The developer is kinda weird...

Using a free host as well, looks promising. (nawt)

I'm a backer :) Huge fan of RPGMaker and it can turn out some magnificent games, of which the vast majority are free too, and I'm also a fan of Dot Hack so this is right up my alley.

This would have been a whole lot better if they put some real effort into it, especially if they want money for the bloody game. I've been a follower of RPG Maker for a very long time and I've seen games with 100x more quality, unique sprites, unique artwork, unique music, unique animations, and heavily modified battlesystem/UI as far back as RPG Maker 2003, all for free. There are some really amazing teams and individuals in the RPG Maker community that do some awesome stuff, and nearly all of them do it for free.

That's probably why I judge pay-to-play RPG Makers titles so harshly... I get annoyed when I see common 'ol RTP and such few modifications to the default stock stuff. That means either A) The story/gameplay/characterization/dialogue better be mind blowing or B) It better have some damn good porn built in.

So I'm going to pass here and wait to see how it turns out, but I ain't expecting much.
