Jar/Box full of trophies from video games

It's difficult to suggest things that would be sentimental to you. Those type of memory boxes/jars are usually specific to each person.

Feels like this thread will be full of people suggesting things and you saying no for one reason or another.

In any case, I suggest crafting your own items from your favorite games. Retail merch is often low quality and generic.

I would fill such a jar with bits of controllers that I smashed in rage.

I agree with the good doctor. I could think of things I'd like (Slime from Dragon Quest, mini shield from Legend of Zelda, things like that) but not sure what things would make you happy.

My suggestion would be to think of your favorite games, then think of your favorite character/item from that game series and look for that. It'll take longer than buying everything up at once but it'll be a fun journey and probably mean a lot more to you in the end.

Never heard of this trophy jar thing, might be something I try someday, pretty cool. As for this: "Could you suggesst some kind of such things which are easy to buy or make." Like some have suggested, maybe try to narrow down your favorite games, in-game objects/characters, quotes, or anything really as a start.

If you plan to craft/D-I-Y, then you might:

• need to do research
• buy or gather materials
• watch youtube/video tutorials, read/follow guides (if you like of course, and if it's available to what you're trying to make or duplicate)

Have you ever done this before or will it be a first time for you, OP? Honestly, I think making something on your own will always be challenge. Plus, it can also be time & money consuming, but once the project is done, you will hopefully be proud of it & yourself!

If you plan to buy, there are online & in-store options:

• Ebay, Amazon, Playstation Gear, and more online stores sell already made items
• Some developers sell their own game collectibles, etc on their websites
• Etsy - similar to Ebay, but you can find custom or handmade items too
• Gamestop can be a local store to visit

Buying might be less of challenge (I assume). Like crafting though, you will still spend money of course. But in this case, you just pay for shipping and stuff like that. If you're patient, there will always be sales/discounts. 👍🏻

I hope it's okay to share these: I bought this Tomb Raider artwork (from Ebay) years ago. It's the only game art I ever purchased so far, but it's awesome. Then, this one, is a fan art' lol I drew back in 2013... did it during intermediate school I think. Reason for making these is because spending money or even printing artwork/posters wasn't really an option for me, so I just made these as an alternative option. Then taped them to my wall, haha. Might be silly, but sometimes you gotta do things for your interests :) Plus, it did save money! So if you're thinking of writing/drawing/painting/anything art-related to add to your trophy jar, you should definitely give it a try. Could be like a favorite quote or somethin'.
