This is actually amazing. Here's hoping a similar thing happens with the first Red Dead Redemption.

Awesome. Been a fan of Volition since they released the prototypes for SR on PSP, only studios that really care about their fans would do that. Will definitely pick this up once its out (only own 3 and 4 on PC atm) .

Anyone got a timestamp for the relevant part of the video?

I was looking more specifically for confirmation of it being a new appid as Volition have consistently referred to it as a patch. That part is around 50-53 minutes in for anyone else wanting it.

People will always pick their torches to fight no matter what. Nowadays its blizzard, a few years ago it was EA and Activision. If you decide to drop off all these news pages and stick with just gaming, gaming will be much more enjoyable as its supposed to be.

a few years ago it was EA and Activision
EA is still shitting out lootboxes and the main focus of controversies about EA Sports' Ultimate Teams' moneysinks and luring children into gambling in games marked as suitable for 3+.
Btw it's Activision-Blizzard, creator of Call of Duty: WWII that made a public show of opening lootboxes as you surely know.
It's not new things, just new players entering into the field of being horrible for the consumers while old ones still being unchecked. And they are going into the single-player games too with the constant "Games as service" ideaology, or Shadow of War beforehand with gimped progression system.
It's not me feeling bad about "People will always pick their torches to fight no matter what.". But the top industry being a total shithole where gameplay is secondary, gametime and "recurring user spendings" rule. Blizzard picked China over human rights, EA and Activision picked lootbox income over mental health/not preying on gambling addicts/kids.

I like Saints Row, saw the third and IV as Lets Play long time ago. Some Years after i got them trough a very cheap Sale on Steam and the third i played already, makes realy fun. But got also Sains Row 2 for free on GoG some time ago, i tried to play it and i got a shock.
The worst Game ever, the Handling of the Cars and all, its really shit. :D Good that it got better in the next Game, or sadly would have skipped the franchise. ^^
